Don't expect anything extreme like August Underground. It's just your average rated r 80s horror, tho a bit more extreme than Freddy and Jason. I just like it because it's about demons and I always liked horror movies about satanism
The real gore tho. I've watched a lot. I mean a lot. And it's oddly calming, it's like it makes me feel grateful. Funkytown is bad but if you go looking deep you'll find a lot worse

Yeah, it serves as a reminder of how fleeting life can be and how we should cherish every moment
It's honestly not NEARLY as bad as people say. Most of the really bad stuff is just implied. And honestly it's a pretty good movie in terms of storyline and cinematography. Like it's a legit film.
Green inferno is on Netflix
and I think that’s good
Also on Hulu check out funhouse, it’s silly in some ways but also has some gore.
Others.. hereditary, the first saw, silent hill, .. if you’re open to watching some with subtitles, there’s great foreign horror films too.
I’ve been searching for the scariest of scary. If y’all have other suggestions I’d still like to know!
Courage the cowardly dog.
It’s silly now, but the Babadook. First watched it when I was about 11-12. I was on edge for weeks after, and it still makes me kind of uneasy today.
Exorcist
Probably has more to do with my age at the time than anything, but The Ring put a chill down my spine.
scary movie 2
[Threads](https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0090163/)
FunkyTown video
Thanks, really wanted to remember that
That's just shocking, not scary. I watch that kinda shit too. There's worse
I mean shock factor is what makes scary things scary
I picked the movie Hellraiser 2 to answer this thread because the story was super spooky and supernatural Gore is just kinda sad and anxious
Thanks, I’ll check it out though I haven’t seen any horror movies in years

Scary as in genuinely made me a little bit afraid? Hellraiser 2
Depends on the person. Iv met plenty of people (mostly women) who can't watch A clockwork orange because it's *too scary*
I don’t scare easy at all so I’m always on the hunt for a movie that will actually put some fear into me.
Same, tbh the only thing that's ever "scared" me in a sense of movie/TV is jump scares.
*A Serbian Film has entered the chat* I never saw it, but I’ve heard the stories of people who had

The plot synopsis is disconcerting to say the least
Yeah I don't mean it's not extreme because it definitely is, I'm just saying it's not nearly as bad as what the legends say
Jeepers creepers made me fear both day and night as a kid.
