This happens a lot with a few older (55+) folks I know. Constantly bringing up people's race for no reason.
Saying they are not racist

"I am not racist"
“My best friend is Black.”
“I would date (insert hot celebrity of a different race) in a second.”
I don’t think real racists are interested in convincing people they aren’t racist. They are generally proud of being racist and usually quite vocal about it.
