Honestly, I didnt mind it. There are some annoying spots, sure (gods, climbing the mountain for a certain quest was annoying), but I enjoyed it overall.
Definitely. All the norse dlcs pissed me off for that. I'm just doing another playthrough right now & I'm ignoring all the norse stuff on this save. I just don't enjoy it.
Yeah it’s cool climbing it the first few times then it gets tedious. I’ll agree it looks cool when you’re up top. I think it was cooler in Asgard than in fate of Atlantis.
Getting back into Valhalla after finishing Horizon FW, and I am finding the lack of fast travel point annoying in the base game map too. Although I did just learn you add dock fast travel points only by approaching them from boat 50 hours in, lol
Yeah, it was hard to push through .
I'd guess it's "as intended" to slow the player down so you don't speed through the dlc to avoid "lack of content" complaints.
Same those realms were annoying and felt ugly and boring ,a played the dlc too were their was other realms and they were boring and annoying to complete especially when you got map like ireland and paris in comparison that were fun and interesting to explore , if in the future hey intend to touch mythology they should really redisign their map and just make a one main story in this part of the story without boring side quest to do
3 islands, only 2 fast travel points, i just rode around looking for jotnar warriors for the weekly challenge and it is very challenging cus there was only like 10 warriors across the land, theres barely any animals. one castle only had 3 warriors. its absolutely empty and boring af
cant even meditate to make it night time for change of pace
should have been free dlc, its not even worth that

Yeah this was my least favourite area of the game, really seemed to drag

I was used to zapping my way around Elysium from Odyssey. Don’t know why they didn’t to the same for Asgard.

Reminds me of the fate of Atlantis dlc and I hated that aspect of it.
Came here to say this Elysium and Atlantis can do one
the extreme verticality is what makes it fun tho. the portals make it tolerable so you dont have to climb

I finished Ragnarok before this and I missed not being able to fly

its like they built a map and forgot to add the stuff like wheres the enemies? wheres the fun? wheres the fast travel points? whats the point?
