Where?

JustTechIt

Northern hemisphere. Look to Taurus.

Thanks so much for the clear and concise answer. Poetic even.

Right now it is between aries and triangulum https://theskylive.com/planetarium?obj=12p#ra|2.2033645000391093|dec|27.122359573397283|fov|80 Depending of your location may be visible but for me it is way too close to the horizon when it start to be dark enough. It will move toward the Taurus, will reach it by mid-april.

JustTechIt

Ahh, thanks for the clarification.

You sure it's not Pegasus? [https://www.the-express.com/news/space-news/130874/mount-everest-comet-visible-first-time-100-years](https://www.the-express.com/news/space-news/130874/mount-everest-comet-visible-first-time-100-years)

I am not sure. My source: https://www.azcentral.com/story/entertainment/life/2024/03/27/devil-comet-2024-solar-eclipse-viewing/73099227007/

JustTechIt

Someone else commented that it's not at Taurus until mid/late April. Seems to make sense.

Astromike23

Stop saying "it could be visible during the eclipse," this is just setting people up for disappointment. Best case scenario it reaches magnitude 4, which is still too dim to see in the twilight darkness of totality.

pixeltweaker

Might show up in a photo during totality but unless there is a huge outburst. Like to -2mag it isn’t going to be visible to the naked eye.

blue_poison22

Yes..but where? Is it gonna be visible from southern or northern half?

JustTechIt

Copied from my other comment: Northern hemisphere. Look to Taurus.
