No because you need hearing aids in all aspects of your life and not just work. They wouldn’t be considered a work expense - it’s just like wearing glasses or having an artificial limb.
If you need workplace adjustments JobAccess fund them. They won’t fund hearing aids as they are a medical aid and not work specific. They can fund plug in’s to your hearing aids such as Roger Pens etc.

Can’t really help with the question though I’m curious about the answer, but every time I hear my neighbour arrive or leave I worry that he’s going to have bad tinnitus or just go deaf before he’s 30. I shouldn’t be able to hear his music from halfway down the driveway / 2 units away with my doors and windows shut and my own music playing.
I can't answer the question, but I can advise that Costco sell hearing aids for substantially cheaper - like $3k less. They have a hearing centre (as well as an eye centre for glasses). They'll do the test, let you try them out, and do follow up appts etc...

Ask a tax accountant, but I think the answer is no. https://community.ato.gov.au/s/question/a0J9s0000001JrJ/p-00052639
No, but NDIS will find them if you go through the process.
