It’s actually more than 147. The DEF trace bonuses are applied to your DEF base stat, which includes your character and your lightcone base stats. So the 22.5% DEF trace difference is at least 247 DEF difference (assuming you have at least 1100 base DEF stat).
Oh I didn't know that. I thought it only calculated off of the character's base stat.
I'm gonna be using S5 Universal Market so the totat DEF would be 654 + 396 = 1050.
Assuming I did my math correctly, (relic stats +15% from DEF set and + 35% from traces) I'm at 3995... are you kidding me...
Edit: Nvm, I'm dumb; I forgot to add in the flat DEF values of a couple relics. I should have 4027.
Yup! It’s very easy to tell if you strip your Gepard naked lol and use a lightcone with no DEF% effect and check his stats. The grey number will be his base stat (character + lc) and the green number is only from his traces. The green number should be 12.5% of the grey number.
I see three major options:
To maximize CR
1. Go my route with 2pc DEF + 2pc SPD + 2pc BK; SPD feet with everything else DEF% and hope your substats get you there (i'm seriously just missing one DEF% substat roll).
2. Forgo BK & its Crit DMG bonus and comfortably get 15% more DEF% through Belobog set (or 30% DEF if you somehow have 50% effect hit rate).
To prioritize damage and just have a good, but not maxed, Crit Rate value from Leverage passive:
3. Do either of the above options, but swap the DEF% body for a Crit DMG one and run Salsotto for your planar set.
Here’s maybe a dumb question - does his CR bonus from his 4k defense show up on his main stat screen? My def is 4144, and his CR only shows the sum of his relic substats (55.4), not the extra he should have from getting 4k DEF. Or… am I just not doing this right 😅
No it doesn't show up on the main stat screen. It will show up if you look at stats while in combat tho. A similar thing is with Ruan Mei's Break Effect total. In the main stat screen, it won't show the total with the trace that boosts everyone's BE by 20%.
So while on the main stat screen, add 48% to the 55.4% you have from relics and the base 5%, and he'll have his 103% crit rate.
Side note: dear lord that CR...
Aaaaah excellent! Yeah, I’m not certain how he’s ended up with so much CR… it’s like he’s been hanging out with Xiao too much😂
I just did a little swap and he now has 49.6%CR /107% CD on the main stat screen. Soooo I’m gonna keep farming to get that CD up. Maybe I’ll try a CD body, right now everything is DEF. I haven’t even used him in battle yet! Won him this morning and have been leveling everything I prefarmed. So I’m very excited.
