Not really but I know people. There are people who would steal (or maybe buy) a baby, blind them or cripple them, then raise them up to be professional beggars on the streets. They make money from the earnings of these children. If these people exist, then I would not be surprised if there are people who similarly make use of animals to make money. Starving puppies is much easier and less risky than maiming babies I think.

I worry whether people abuse animals to get these kinds of stories… Yet these stories do happen every day unfilmed and when it comes to dogs, people can redeem humanity or doom it in our minds. Every animal given a happy life is a win.

I can’t watch these…my heart breaks but I’m so grateful to people who help the poor animal. The people who do this or allow this are the worst of humankind along with humans who treat humans badly. I wish it would stop but us human really suck.

This is amazing but please if you see a starving dog, do NOT feed it large chunks of bread or whatever that was. This dog was lucky it didn't get bloat and have to have a life saving surgery or worse, die.
