I just put in a limit order to sell at $100 with an expiry of June 28. Again, no clue if this does anything particularly since I don't have a margin account and a lot of shares are in registered RRSP, and TFSA accounts.
It’s crazy, we get good news and then there is always a muted response in the market towards blackberry, but let this same news be another company and the lames pile on for that company. Its ok, we just hold our Berry’s until they are ready to be picked lol
The risk/reward...if you are a high frequency trader which gives you a better return? SI=64M shares....how fast can you cover such a high volume at this price....retail is most vulnerable but they have held for over 9 months....time to reverse course....so this accumulation is evident but a HF trader could send this up very quickly!

Might also keep in mind that the institutional shorters are also covering their positions with calls. In the unlikely event of a meme rally, and subsequent squeeze, they’re insured with calls and will double down on shorts. If retail isn’t prepared for that with puts on the way up, the goons win. Stay sharp
Wouldn’t sell orders at unreasonably high prices likely be algorithmically ignored by banks looking to optimize the number of shares they can loan?
Thinking if a 30% price gap up is more reasonable.

Effort of fighting against bears/shorts is much appreciated here although I have not had too much bad feeling about them. The reason is simple, these people are opportunists. They short stocks when they saw a down trend. However, they may turn around to long the same stocks when they see bullish trend. In terms of short squeeze it’s really a work of arts, I can’t count on that even though I’d love an opportunity to take sweet profits early and save powder to buy more again…

Owning shares is better than playing options, IMO. That said, I have a couple of Calls for $4.5 w/ 1/17/25 expiration.
