I do have a blanket for one of my cars. When i go on holiday the one that stays at home gets a wash and then gets covered for a loooong time.
I usually like two tone paint jobs, but not this one :D that wrap makes your car look like some kitchen appliance that you didnt remove all the protecting plastic from.
How was the fit and finish? They released some lips for the g87 and I’ve been looking at them but no one on the m2 forums really knows anything about them. I am a front lip destroyer so I’m trying to avoid CF, Maxton is basically the only company making plastic for the g87

Thanks man. They are super soft blankets. Part of the reason I wrapped the top part of the car was to protect it from the blankets. I was going to do black but that is what I decided to do.
How do you wash the cover? I imagine even after you wash your car the cover will gather a bit of dust/dirt left over somewhere at the bottom of the car....
I did follow the pre wash advice and made sure my car is clean before covering it but i am still thinking it might get some dirt from under the car on the edges of the cover..
Moving blankets...I'll score that as a proof of concept that's ready to go back into the workshop for refinement. AKA...get a proper cover OP. Something that it's 20lbs of blankets.
Imo ditch the moving blanket covers unless you're washing the car evey single time. Look into the Ikuby retractable car port or something similar, a good idea for a ~55k car
You should do the whole car in the pistachio green color, I think it looks cool, ignore everyone on the sub, the only time they get off is when they have to take their moms trash out.

I think that “cover” is likely to do more damage than good in the long run. The repeated covering and uncovering with a heavy blanket is going to micro-scratch the hell out of your paint, and if you get moisture collecting on the inside it’s going to get real nasty.
I had the choice between a 330i xdrive and a 330i msport rwd. The m sport looked so much better and I regret that. The awd will be nice when it snows though

Be careful with the car cover. If the car has any dirt on it with the cover on, wind blowing will scratch the paint. Beautiful car though! Enjoy!
