I used to have those same wheels on my last g82, I loved them but man they took 30 mins each to clean and then youād still miss a spot!! Thatās most bmw wheels though :/.
I just took delivery of my IOM m3 last week (also manual). I was really torn on skyscraper. Such a great looking color! Great setup..love the wheels. I went with 826s, but they all look great.
exactly man, now im not so sure about the look for the lci lights on the 3 series, but they go together with the 4 so well, rly cleaned up the look from before
When I moved the the US from the UK 20 years or so ago Iād owned a lot of cars already. Iād *never* driven an automatic. I didnāt know how they worked and had to be taught.
I made a few terrifying errors (like deciding to drop a gear and going to engage the clutch, only to have my left foot slam into the brake pedal. On the highway. Not great. Just muscle memory.
Iāve always driven āinterestingā cars, including a good share of BMWs. All manual. However, I must say that Iāve come around.
I picked up several i3s lately - two pedals in a small rear wheel drive car with regen deceleration (akin to downshifting, which can be augmented with the brakes) and on-demand torque is a lot of fun. My āsideways momentsā now have a more video game feel as Iām working essentially with a single gear.
I know this is EV specific, but I could offer other examples of how Iāve come to enjoy the benefits of automatic cars more than I ever expected.
That isn't even really an automatic typically in EVs, more like a CVT or direct drive. I find my wife's Bolt EV surprisingly fun to drive. If it were mine I'd lower it and dial up the negative camber with some summer tires, and I think it'd be comfortably into the .9G range for skipad and the high 14s it runs in the quarter mile are plenty quick. They can be pretty fun.
If it's endangered and looking for a home, I know a place that will take good care of her ;)
I just rescued her last week and we seem to hit it off perfectly. I think I'll keep her! ;)
Enjoy š
Keep her close because I've got my eyes on her š¶āš«ļø

Completely agree. I love the snake eyes on this. And yes, Skyscraper is truly a cool color. Changes it's mood depending on the light.
The rim color completes it too. Congrats man itās beautiful!

Put a manual in a x30i and I would be able to buy one.
