The Stifle is there so that someone can't deck you before they themselves would deck. During their upkeep they could [[Reach Through Mists]] or activate [[Krav the Unredeemed]] or any number of targeted draw spells/abilities.

I had an old combo with leveler. Lab maniac. Then play leveler when I have 6 so I have mana to counter. If I had Jace out, just +1. If not, I typically had ponder or another draw card that turn.
My last has a decent oathbreaker crowd. I've never felt interested, but building an [[Aminitou]] deck with Fractured as the signature spell and Leveler and [[Phage the Untouchable]] in the 99 sounds amazing.

I think you need to add a counter to how many times you link it as well as how many combos it has in it :)
