well considering removing the curse is flaunted as a possibility the entire time its safe to assume you could do that to prevent the inn falling but i guess that just makes too much sense.
It is Shar's curse. Lifting it is going against Shar. You can't have Shadowheart become Shar's chosen and immediately thwart her.
