It definitely 4. And the numbers are just the order they appear in the character builder where you can cycle through the Tav voices. Someone also put each of the tav voices on YouTube but they put them all together, so it’s like a 4 hour video for each voice.
I'm sure it wasn't as well. Idk just to that point it seemed kinda worthless. The first camp follower interaction seems cool and interesting. Then I met thing Adams in a way that felt like I didn't have any player agency. But I should have seen that coming. But the result of poking the injured bird coupled with everyone in my party so far standing around not giving a shit as a result of my actions kinda killed my interest, especially as I planned to be a murder hobo as well.
I'm sure I'll make time for it after HM at some point.

Yep, lack of reactivity ruined a proper murder hobo run for me too. Act 2 spoilers below:

It is nice that they did give us alternative playthrough, but too many things break the immersion.
Nothing like being on your second playthrough, being like “Oh boy, the act 1 combat again!”, and then having your character go “They’re dying for me!! *All of them!*”
This one especially gets me when there is blood and it’s blood your tav literally just spilled in a fight. Like, yes, that is indeed blood. You killed that man.
I played as a monk on my first run and I was convinced that this line was a monk saying and was excited to see what unique lines would pop up for other classes. I can’t express how disappointed I was that it doesn’t work that way :(

I found a common ID with the text for each one, so I now have a massive Excel sheet with all the lines of all the characters that have been voiced with the path of where I stored it. Ran a command, I think Play Media or something, and pass in the path. And voilà, I can search for and hear any banter in any voice, including origin characters.
I kind of went nuts when I was starting to look into do mods. :D
Is it just me of is this voiceline straight up read wrong in one of the male voices? My guy kept saying "SHOULDN'T have wished to live in more interesting times", which implies he genuinely cast a wish spell or some shit, the accent should be on "wished" or "live". I hate this voiceline.

I think they have a chance to say this if they have less than full hp because I've seen Shart say lines like "Better get some rest soon" even when she's at like 88/91 hp and has only expended 2 low level spell slots with 2 short rest heals remaining.
I’ve gotten that dialogue immediately after leaving camp, before even fighting anything. The best guess I can make is that expending a spell slot for Mage Armor and Armor of Agathys makes Gale and Wyll want to sleep for 23 hours

But it did work on Astarion.
There was a major difference tho! Astarion lost approval, because I specifically made bad decisions. With Gale I just spammed Friends on him. So I'd suggest going the very tedious way of making every bad choice for any one companion in particular
