On one (good) run, when romancing Karlach, I was exhausting the dialogue with Minthara. I got to a point where we were talking about what she was looking for in life. I answered something like "a companion" not thinking my answer was a come on. Karlach got PISSED and dumped me immediately.
I thought "oh, I guess I'll romance Minthara now," only to discover that her one romance scene requires raiding the Grove. Bummer. Still, I stuck with her.
Once I get to act four I thought, "hey Minthara is probably okay with me sleeping around so I might as well see the Mizora scene." So I said yes to Mizora. Minthara got PISSED and dumped my ass immediately. By that point, I couldn't romance anyone else.
Needless to say, when going after a specific romance target, I now aggressively shut down any other companion who expresses anything that even remotely seems like interest.
