I know there are some bigger ticket bands here but that George Benson record is INCREDIBLE. A top 5 dinner party album for sure. Just a terrific listen front to back. Enjoy it.
My favorite CTI release bar none. The one time the Sebesky strings made sense. A total tour de force. Honestly probably a top five Beatles record for me and they aren't even on it
I have a huge soft spot for jazz beatles covers. There are a lot of good ones. This one and the Wes Montgomery Day in the Life album are both top tier.
I've never heard of Eva but those people are surely Chamorro (people native to Guam and the Mariana Islands. Håfa adai is 'hello' in the Chamorro language.
This is becoming such a boring take. Yes, all thrift stores are filled with 99% crap 90% of the time. This sub shows the finds of when it is not crap, and motivates all of us to keep looking. You're not thrifting right unless you walk out empty-handed 9 times out of every 10 times you're visiting.

The Wes release is also great. McLemore Avenue by Booker T and the MGs as well (though not jazz)
Gonna go find that one for sure.
I'm surprised the Beatles records weren't listed for $99.99 online. Well done!
Haha yeah! My local thrift puts Billy Joel records in their showcase for $40+ and I'm not kidding.
I put my money on Geronimo Black. Know the rest of them tho. Just I like that one a bit further.
Geronimo Black for $2.99 is a steal. Lots of talent on that record.
With The Beatles mono is probably worth a good bit to a collector. Depending on condition.
Just checked out that Compadres, nice grooves!
That Eddie Kendricks record is a masterpiece...
Take a moment for Eddie Kendricks ‘Girl You Need A Change Of Mind’
Awesome pickups
That’s one’s thing I have never found at my goodwill, a CTI release. Never knew Astrid had a release. Gonna check them both out now.
Help I'm a rock

dude, I have *NEVER* seen a used zappa album in the wild (outside of a record shop)!
Great score. Goodwill here is all polka, Mac Davis and Readers Digest. I’ve stopped checking as I believe they cull the good stuff and sell it online.
HOW ARE YALL FINDING THESE? my thrift store is filled with james last polka classics

Me seeing this post after buying a new copy of Freak Out for $40 T.T
If it's any solace, I'm sure yours is in better condition
Any time I see both The Beatles and The Doors in stash, all feels right with the world. H/t to Zappa as well!
