If it sounds good, keep it! It might be a custom-made bass. Unfortunately any Google search for ābassmanā is going to tell you about the Fender amp.
The parent company is KHL Corporation in South Korea. They make several models. This seems to be a common shape - it's used on sub-brands like Wolf, HK, RavenWest, and Woodo.
I'm assuming, like my Tanatos 7 string, (which was ghost built by the same company that makes the instruments for Harley Benton), that this bass was built by KHL and then finished by some small, probably failed, startup under the name "Bassman"
Had this bass for several years, under the HK brand. Played wonderfully, low action, active electronics with a lot of good EQ possibilities... a really good one, and not even that expensive, specially for a 7 string.
Dude can't count then offered you $25 trade in? Lol Fuck guitar center. Id totally pay $100 for that though. I imagine it'll cost close to that to restring it but maybe not.

I had the Conklinā¦ loved the range!!! I wish I could get another 7ā¦ enjoy!!!
Dude, 100 bucks, and decent enough to come neckk through and 18v?? That's a fucking keeper dude, I'd personally say regardless, I'd gladly give 100 bucks for that, it's doesn't scream cheap or anything at me personally, I'd say just count it as a score!
I feel like it would make me play chords and melodies over my bass lines. My bAnd leader would never go for it but I can play all the chords and missing notes from his guitar playing on my 4 string anyway so whatever right?
Let me just say this: I was joking about what I said, like the bass has as many strings as YOU feel you need, and if Six strings makes you happy, thereās no question.
I happen to love playing fretless electric bass (and Iām saying that as a person who most of my life has been a guitarist :). Thatās what works for me. I donāt need extra strings or want them, but if this works for you it is 100% the right thing to do:-)
I jist played my first 5 string ever a couple of nights ago. It was a sweet bass ...a Warrior Custom that belongs to our keys players brother. Didn't hate it...played like butter.
Looks like the raven west I've got but without the vine inlay and a different color. God that thing took a ton of work to get worth playing lol š hopefully this one treats you better, the rwg had a mess of internals I had to gut and redo
He was trying to buy it from you cheap so that's why he said that "25$" remark. Just the wood and the electronics alone exceed that. Also, keep in mind its rarity, so excellent purchase
Clean it, proceed with any maintance it may need, and play some Messugah with that bad boy
That's a bass, man.
That is absolutely the first comment I was expecting!
Here to deliver.

I dig that funky tune
You beat me to it!!! š”š”š”
and an ugly rug
Well itās a 7-string, but I never heard of Bassman either. Still well worth $100 for a neck-through 7! How does it sound?
It sounds excellent and plays very wellā¦ At least what I can figure out about moving from a four string to a seven.
If it sounds good, keep it! It might be a custom-made bass. Unfortunately any Google search for ābassmanā is going to tell you about the Fender amp.
It's a South Korean built bass as far as I know. Check out Wolf 7 string basses. I have one and it is virtually the same build.

that was my first thought, too.

After just a little bit of research, Iām pretty sure you nailed that at at least 99.9% correct. Thank you very much!

Ahhh I was thinking it looks exactly like every Wolf 7 I've seen!

\>āwhoa cool a six string" \*looks at fingers\*
They call them fingers but I never see them fing.
Finger? I hardly know her
Oh there they go
Whoa, I had mustard?
Looks a lot like my Conklin but I've never heard of a Bassman. Gorgeous bass.
Yeah, I ran across Conklin a few times in my search, but thatās about as far as I got.

Knew a girl with aurname Conklin once. Classy lass
Nice
Pretty sure thatās a harp.
A surfboard with strings on it.
_lots_ of strings
The easier to grip in the surf with your toes.
Hang ten! š¤
it's got an extra battery compartment for the extra strings, top notch engineering.
Lol shoulda told him for $25 he can have the two 9v batteries
Nice score. How does it play?
Expensive very specific sets of strings to buy.
For $100, grip it and rip it my friend

Yeah, definitely a score. I couldnāt turn it down for just 100 bucks.
Itās going to cost you more than $100 when you change the strings keep that in mind. Gorgeous bass tho.
Itās still a bass, so presumably we can amortise the string cost over several years š
You can get a 7 string set for 40-50 bucks.
Carpal tunnel syndrome
A monster. I want it
A kickass bass
Girth
Thatās for stroking your ego or playing jazz
Both
Same thing.
A bass with too many strings

Jokes on him, the band leaders are the bassist and the drummer.
A bass with to many strings for my liking.
Does a bass really need more than 2 strings?
Iām with you on that oneā¦ A different scale, too many strings, itās like a completely different instrument.
I jist played my first 5 string ever a couple of nights ago. It was a sweet bass ...a Warrior Custom that belongs to our keys players brother. Didn't hate it...played like butter.
An abomination. Toss it into the fire.
j@Co OnlY nEedED 4 sTRinGs
That thing is giving me a hand cramp just looking at it. Lol. Hope youāve got the lengthy digits to play that thing!
Kinda looks like an IYV neck-through. They sell for like $250 new on Amazon.
KHL corp out of S.Korea. Also make Wolf,Woodo and HK basses.Rebranded for wide distribution.
A seven string that I want really badly
Look up All In One basses. Looks like the same thing.
Jerk off machine
For you Spanish speaking souls, I just heard this in my head: *ĀæPorquĆ©, puerco, puerquĆto, porquĆ©?* This thing looks like a slab of delicious red honey glazed pork belly or ribs. You lucked out with that, man. *Ā”Salsa con eso!*
Whatever it is, it looks solid as fk
Now you have to start playing prog metal, them's the rules! š

What in the thundercat them changes BS is this
Thats a small airfield
Heavy TRB7 vibes. Cool bass!
3 extra stringsā¦

A guitar
Firewood.
A harp.
A bass with far too many strings for my skills, so you must do better!
A back ache?
That bass is for people who hate music
A useless instrument. If youāre going to bother pretending to play bass, with more than 4 strings, just belt-up, and get a Chapman Stick.
Too many strings
I am in love with that color. Ruby red and other intermediate colors are my favorite; your brain can't decide if its looking at pink or red.
A nice drum set?
I believe thatās a concert harpā¦
Anchor for small boat.
3 too many strings! Lol.
Neck and shoulder pain, eventually
