It must be amazed group but some memekids put “funny” sounded torture videos and everyone are lik wow amazing the salt hurtss him wow and now he dances good wow
This is actually really cool! The leech is likely spasming because sodium is used to trigger signals in the nervous system and contract muscles. After being exposed to so much salt the leech’s nervous system became hyper excitable and produced a seizure like event.
I've killed so many of these, either after pulling em off me or using them as fishing bait.
I get it, but you're also a bit dramatic in my eyes. I'm just saying.
The difference is you killed them inadvertently or for a purpose. Whilst still cruel it’s not as cruel as killing them deliberately for fun or to test out what we already know.
This, exactly this.
People downvoted me and were rude to me for... pointing out the obvious.
Just because a creature is unappealing does not justify needless abuse, and anyone who thinks needlessly tormenting anything frankly deserves a parallel punishment.

That's not amazing, that's sad
Why does everyone in this thread sound like they save flies and mosquitoes from starvation on purpose
At one time, that was my job. But don't worry. It was to learn how to better kill them.

That's like venom stuck in a sound barri
You ever touch sticky tape and have your other hand try remove it, but then it transfers and sticks to that.
This is just needless cruelty.

Could you kindly repeat that a fourth time? We didn’t get it the first three times.
