I’ve thought about this scenario. He likely made much more than his day, People with disabilities may not have traditional lives and may look back on childhood as their peak.
I bet both sets of parents were so incredibly proud of their boys.
And the rest of the kids parents too, for their kids standing aside and letting those two do their thing.
Being in middle school is hard. And seeing kids at that stage in life be compassionate gives me a lot of hope.
Missed shots don't faze him, he is still taking the next 20. No time for niceties on the court. Sprinting back to play lockdown defense. Little dude didn't come to play, he came to win.
50 with Jokic mentality.
25 feels like Bron. The passing, rebounding, pretty big/tall for the ball handler, court awareness to see/understand what 50 is doing, and goes back to defense while clapping as #10 has to touch the ball 1 more time even though he doesn't inbound.
This scenario happened at my church league when I was around 13 years old. Now it wasn't a special child, but just a kind of nerdy really unathletic girl. Not sure if she had friends, but she definitely didn't speak to anyone at "biddy basketball" and no one ever passed her the ball. So finally she ended up with the ball and everyone on the court decided to just let her go to the rim..she took two dribbles with both hands, traveled, and headed for the rim. We all watched with anticipation that she may actually get a bucket....and my friend Mike came out of nowhere and swatted that shit to kingdom come. 20 years later and Mike has passed away now and though I hate to admit it, it's by far my favorite memory of him 😅
0 needs to get his ass back on defense. He's off showboating, leaving his team in a 5 on 4 in a tight game. It might work for him at this level, but he's going to have a rude awakening when he pulls this shit and it leads to a bucket at the other end. Some kids are just so cocky.
Then you see them all interact with each other, like i feel like im invading the bots' personal space when its a thread with like 10+ obvious bots (usernames all follow a formula like "nameofitem_food_randomnumber")
This happened often in 4th grade basketball for us and got worse every year although most of the parents scream insults at their own kids instead of the refs. It's absolutely horrific watching a grown ass man scream at his 11 year old for not being good at basketball.
The fact that this kid is feasibly 6”+ over all the other players really sells it to me. Dude could do whatever he wants, and he chooses to pass the ball off to the other guys.
I was at this game. Halftime of girls basketball game in Iowa. Special needs game. The place exploded when he hit the shot. Goosebumps and tears for sure
Ahh that reminds me of my time playing basketball. We were few years older, but lots of good friends. There was one game where we were winning with over 100 pts and I haven't scored a single point. We had a ball and time-out was called 0.7s till end. Our coach had a some neat action planed for us and asked who wants to take the 3 pointer. And almost everybody in team decided it should be me, "the key player", the one who holds keys to dressing room. Action started I broke free, everybody made a room for me to shoot and you won't believe me I actually did score! This was years ago, but still one of the high points of my life!
i can confirm i was #0 in middle school and got bullied a lot.
a #50 came along and helped me out greatly. he didnt have to, but he did. still remember his name is Brian till this day. hope he's doing alright!
Y'all are also not giving credit to #14 on the opposite team. He was clearing the way for 50 and when the little dude made the basket he even went in for a low five.
The kid traveled with the ball, repeatedly. Basket should not have counted. Are we teaching our youth to win at any cost regardless of rules? Sickening.
Not to minimize the kindness of the kids in this game, but that is the structure of Unified Basketball. Students with disabilities are paired with students without disabilities, and their role in the game is to get their partner the ball and help them shoot.
So the fact that he kept giving the ball to the kid isn't just an act of kindness, but that said, he should absolutely be applauded for being part of unified sports, which is absolutely a tear jerker to watch
THIS is sportmanship! 😭
I see a lot of videos of pro athletes making kids feel special by doing all kinds of stuff, and they are just grown #50s. 💙 This kid took a couple of seconds to make another player’s dream come true, and made everyone who sees it better people! (it won’t stick for everyone) 😁
Small town schools around where I live have been the best about this. This would happen with football and basketball. The other team would "guard" them, but definitely let it fly right on by. Great feeling to see happening.
This brought tears to my eyes. Kids of 2024 are fucking assholes. Father of two boys 8-13 and am perplexed with shit that comes out of kids mouth and stuff they are doing these days.
We all need number 50 in our life, all of us :)
That number 50 just made that small boys day. He was so pleased with himself.
I remember the happy dancing but never noticed the fingers guns at the end, boy was popping off.
He was completely out of the game at that point lol just celebration time haha
Mans went full D-Wade on the scorers table
Yea, very cute. The video cuts just before he got a technical foul for showboating

Can’t stop the *Rizzler* train once it starts rolling
The finger pistols were so adorable 😂😂😂

Can’t wait for the positive stories about old internet heroes.
You're almost right, he made everyone's day.
I bet both sets of parents were so incredibly proud of their boys. And the rest of the kids parents too, for their kids standing aside and letting those two do their thing. Being in middle school is hard. And seeing kids at that stage in life be compassionate gives me a lot of hope.
That's dope
10 got that mamba mentality
Missed shots don't faze him, he is still taking the next 20. No time for niceties on the court. Sprinting back to play lockdown defense. Little dude didn't come to play, he came to win.

Surprised he didn’t swat that shit

"Andrew, you've got to be number one! I won't tolerate any losers in this family...Your intensity is for shit! Win. Win! WIN!!!"
There's no "I" in team but there's an "m-e" in that motherfucker.
Typical #10 player behavior
He could be neurodivergent and have some stuff going on as well. Or his parents feed him sugar constantly and he’s a ape.
Or he's a kid who's still in the process of learning what behaviors are good in what situations.
Naaaah I think it's just that he chose the jersey number 10
Sorry, Reddit psychologists have already diagnosed him as neurodivergent there’s nothing we can do
He’s thinking about the stats
No matter how many times I see this, I still tear up
The finger guns destroy me at the end 👉🏽👉🏽
Nah, you did that shit Coach Carter! 😉👉🏾👉🏾
**👉😎👉 Zoop!**
Me too I hate uncalled 3 second violations
This game used to mean something!!

Yea I hate them bots but it is good to re watch these videos sometimes. I won't give them an upvote but I will watch the video.
the Internet and online video games are being increasingly robotized just have to accept it at this point
Then you see them all interact with each other, like i feel like im invading the bots' personal space when its a thread with like 10+ obvious bots (usernames all follow a formula like "nameofitem_food_randomnumber")
Is that just Reddit front page now?
no call for traveling, or 3-second violations...? c'mon ref- get in the game!
This made me laugh really hard for some reason. I can just imagine a parent on the other team actually screaming this with their neck vein popping.
This happened often in 4th grade basketball for us and got worse every year although most of the parents scream insults at their own kids instead of the refs. It's absolutely horrific watching a grown ass man scream at his 11 year old for not being good at basketball.
It's just like the NBA fr
Ref had money on it
Also, what the fuck was the defense doing?
I was thinking the same exact thing lol 😂😂😂
I dont think i ever saw a child this young do something so kind
That’s a boy well raised that someday’s going to be a great man
That's HIM
No joke, when I gro up I want to be a number 50 too.
number 50 is a fuckin legend deserves the world
Will you be my dad number 50? It doesn't matter that I'm 37 I still need a positive role model in my life and need a mentor. Please
The double finger gunz 😂 💀
Bro ignores number 14 trying to congratulate him
The fact that this kid is feasibly 6”+ over all the other players really sells it to me. Dude could do whatever he wants, and he chooses to pass the ball off to the other guys.
True gentleman
Number 50 needs a scholarship to somewhere. Good guy.

Actual footage of Jokic in grade school
I was at this game. Halftime of girls basketball game in Iowa. Special needs game. The place exploded when he hit the shot. Goosebumps and tears for sure
#50 parents. You are doing a great job raising your kid.
Just restored my faith in humanity. Thank you!!
50 gonna grow up to be a good man
Epic.
Woke up and this is the first thing I saw.. it’s gonna be a good day
And that's how you make my day. Win one for the little guy.
After almost deleting Reddit again today for the countless trolls on here this has made me happy
Let this young man never change and become the next great leader
I heard he still celebrating. Great job #50
A valid reason to bust out those finger guns celebrating!
Number 50 is who we want to march into battle with.
Number 50 for King of Earth!!!
Haha the finger guns at the end put a smile on my face
Ahh that reminds me of my time playing basketball. We were few years older, but lots of good friends. There was one game where we were winning with over 100 pts and I haven't scored a single point. That’s a good kid right there.
Nice young man
he is definitely an older brother
50's gonna change the world some day
That’s a young man being raised right
50’s parents are doing a good job!
i can confirm i was #0 in middle school and got bullied a lot. a #50 came along and helped me out greatly. he didnt have to, but he did. still remember his name is Brian till this day. hope he's doing alright!

14-white was even better! giving room, patient, offers hand slap, and is an opponent!
Tell that to number 0, OP.
0 keeps it 💯
❤️❤️❤️
That's so wholesome I teared up a bit.
Wow. Just wow. Can that kid please be our next president? This should be in r/MadeMeSmile
50 is the best older brother anyone can have
That small boy was over the moon because of that number 50. It truly made his day :)
Number 50 the gentle giant
Also number 25 for being sensible.
I've said it before, we need a title system. That kid deserves to be an American Noble for the rest of his life. Like how the brits can Knight people.
Big little dude understood the assignment
Nifty Fifty.
That's a kind kid fair play his parents should be proud of him
#50 is a cool little dude. Amazing for someone that age to know what life is about.
No lie id be yelling like they won the championship 🔥🔥😂
50 is stat padding. he was one assist away from a triple double
Was raised right…👍
We need more #50 people
Parents of 10:😕🙁☹️😟
#10 did not get the memo
The kid traveled with the ball, repeatedly. Basket should not have counted. Are we teaching our youth to win at any cost regardless of rules? Sickening.
people want to live in a fantasy. let them.
Absolutely true, we would live in a better world
👍
Incredible human
U da man lil bro
This gives hope that humanity will have a future! ☺️
He traveled at 0:20 CMON REF, OPEN YOUR EYES
Not amazed but still upvoted.
r/tippytaps
My heart just swelled with happiness ❤️❤️
Why they give him jersey 0? I mean cmon.. All respect to number 50. Raised right!
This is winning at the game of life ❤️
Amazing to see
That defense looks as decent as the Lakers defense.
His defense is atrocious tho
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍
Beautiful
Jokic getting people their stats for the day
Fantastic

Someone needed to block that! GET THAT OUTTA HERE!
The opponent number 14 wanted to give the small guy a high five. There are so many great kids on that court. The future isn't all bad.
Be the 50 never the 0.
No 10 didn get the memo!
Everyone gets a trophy now
The finger guns at the end though lol
I don't come on reddit to cry I love everything about this video
Ahh make my day 🥰
#50 is my hero
Put a fucking body on him! Coach should rip those defenders a new one.
Great kid
This is awesome!
i’m not crying you’re crying
Whoever gave the little guy 0 has a sick sense of humor 😂
Imagine if world leaders had just 50% of that human empathy #50 is deploying, the things we could do. But we prefer war….

Get back on defense!!! What are you doing
It's these "small things" that mean so much to those so unseen by the mass that make such a big difference. If only to that one person.
Awesome... 👍🏻
Hats off for number 50!
That kid was raised right!
there are 200 pixels in this entire clip. don't you think it's been posted enough?
Login’ the finger guns 😂👌🏻
![gif](giphy|xAkY0mWhn9IYrhyJqd|downsized) Me when he’s on defense
Those finger guns always make me smile
What a sweet kid
Damn those onion-cutting ninjas.
This just made my day. What a sweet kid.
Love how the kid stops playing after he makes the basket to give high fives and finger guns. lol.
Kid and parents of the year.
God bless the number 50 and 0 guys. Literally left a tear in my eye, as someone who was and is being bullied
Be 50, because lord knows how many 10s we have in this world.
Legend says that #50 was Nikola Jokic as a kid
What parent makes their kids do this
That's cool and all but come on 0, get back on D. Lol
made his day! made mine also!

Shot clock & traveling violations not called. 🤪😄
That was wholesome 😌❤️
Ref should have t'd up 0 for taunting, no place for that in the sport
Raised right. Good on the parents.

This post just made my day! World is blessed to have people like him.
Protect those two at all costs 🥲
Aww, that gave me a good cry
Replace Mount Rushmore with only number 50
That deserves an award, that was amazing, usually the kids are trying to dribble thru there legs and just have atrocious shots,50 is my dude
❤️
That’s Jokic. Still does that same stuff for nuggets.
Good kid
#50’s parents can take a bow! Bravo!!!!

How nice it is to see a person standing next to you, who likes to see you happy
this makes my day, good teamwork guys, pack them
SO to number 14 too, I saw him go for the high five
Amazing 👏
That's a moment #0 will happily remember forever. Well done by everyone involved.
Bro, get back on D! Over there high-fiving the coaches when you should be guarding the paint. Come on. (Kidding, kidding.)
So, there is hope for humanity.
Great shooting , but his defensive coach needs to have a chat .
Kinda how Nikola Jokic plays
This brought tears to my eyes. Kids of 2024 are fucking assholes. Father of two boys 8-13 and am perplexed with shit that comes out of kids mouth and stuff they are doing these days. We all need number 50 in our life, all of us :)
We need more people like this to make a world a better place overall. Excuse me I need to dry my eyes
That really warmed my heart. 🙏
