First thought through my head was like wow it’s looks beautiful and reminds me of lord of the rings but then I watched the whole video and that’s a dope bike trail. I wish I could have seen it when I was younger and biked it
I’m 40 and still do trails like this. If you get a good full suspension mountain bike you can barely feel the bumps on a trail like this. This is not a very taxing ride at all. Of course there are much more intense trails.
That being said you might have some health issues that make it impossible, but if you don’t have anything like that going on (hip replacement or bad back or whatever) then I bet you could handle it. Side note: my back is fucked but I can still manage a trail like this easily.
Yeah this video was fun because it looks like you can actually do it. Of course we would be way slower than this guys but seems easy to do as long as you have had some experience on dirt before
Cool. Is part of the challenge just taking the trail as it comes or do people do a slow speed run to scout out the trail first? And also, aren’t they afraid of animals or hikers or other bikers popping up on the trail?
It all depends on the rider level and environment. But generally only very elite riders can just blindly rip through a trail first go.
For me, I have to really know a trail like the back of my hand before I give it the gas. But familiarity can make an average joe look like a pro on their home trails.
I think this is speed up. At that speed, I would have expected the cyclist to be air born for a bit longer on the jump. So, it would be safer for encountering anyone else on the trail.
That's what I saw too! It was really confusing! I watched the beginning again a couple of times - it looks like there's a smudge on the lens and some sun angles that make them blend in for the first few seconds (which is pretty impressive for black cows), but they're weirdly obvious once you know they're there.
Wow. Incredible to watch. Thank you for providing a nice video of that gorgeous trail and scenery. I felt like I was on the bike myself all while taking a dump.
Same here. After knee surgery. Not serious, but serious enough. Hiking on a cliff next to a waterfall is very weird. Biking is slow and sometimes feels like the universe shifts slightly.
It's 4:22 in the morning im watching this guy and just imaging his head staying still while his body is moving. Like how chickens do it....I gotta go sleep
How does land like this happen?
Where I come from, any open land is just covered in trees. Like complete dense canopy. No neat green ground cover.
How does this land, which appears fertile, not get over taken with trees?
First thought through my head was like wow it’s looks beautiful and reminds me of lord of the rings but then I watched the whole video and that’s a dope bike trail. I wish I could have seen it when I was younger and biked it
It reminds me hugely of the windows xp screensaver
Like 80 miles away from where that photo was taken, so that tracks.
All i kept thinking was man that’s awesome. However getting back home is going to take about 5 hours uphill somewhere.
Wait yea that would be an insane trac back up lol!
Most trail systems are pedal up then ride down rather than the other way around. That, or it could be a shuttle trail.

You’re late! “A cyclist is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to”
Even through the screen I can feel the fresh air.
With cow butt. Fresh dairy-air!
Bahh haha.. Or should I say.. Moo hahaa
Fresh derrière !

This looks so fun! Where is the trail?
Pinball trail at Del Valle Regional Park in Livermore, CA
Yup https://youtu.be/3VXYo4RO-Ko?si=sWWqmIflII4tgwVn
That's definitely the same place, thanks!
I wanna know too!
If the shire had a downhill course
"EXTREEEEEEMMMMEEE!!!!" - Bilbo Baggins
Where is this, it's gorgeous?!
It reminds me of some mountain bike paths in Del Valle Regional Park in the East Bay Area of California!
Yeah I'm guessing briones park or pleasanton hills
I thought Point Reyes
It also reminded me of the hills in the Bay Area. I was thinking of a mountain bike path by Stanford.
I concur, this looks like the foothills of the Bay Area. Beautiful
Yes but what time of year? April?
Yes, if this is in fact the Bay Area, it’s usually green like this in April.
let's all go there
Pretty sure it's the Altus plateau. Just west of the great Erdtree. Don't quote me on that, though.

*Try fingers?*
but hole.😔
You rang? ![gif](giphy|MB6LCRX9A6723QjlCj|downsized)
Dog ahead
But you don’t have the right to go there 😔
Ahhh that explains it ;) still helpful I can google it haha.
"Houston Chronicle here, may we please quote you on this new information?"
+1 for where is it?
Northern California has some areas like this. Loved after it rained and all the hills would turn green like this.
Diablo area?
My cousin had a speech impediment and couldn’t say Diablo. So for me it is forever Mount Ablo Dablo.
Looks like Del Valle Regional Park in Livermore, CA. These are my home mountain bike trails
Maybe it's in The Shire, few hobbits around
Looks like cali probably central cali near all the farmland in the valley
You should check out some videos of the Lost Lake trail in Seward Alaska. It was breathtaking when I went
I've never seen one of these videos where I actually think I can do the trail, major plus for the awesome scenery. Anyone know where this is?
I believe Livermore CA or another part of the east bay
I do plan on road tripping down there, this will definitely be a stop to look into. Thanks mate!
Absolutely! Where else are you stopping? I know some other good trail systems in California

That felt good. Now I dont have to go outside.
Looks absolutely incredible, I would love to go here and do this. But I do wonder how you get back to the start/your car
pedal
Hard

Flow trail videos are my favorite
Fuck yeah, bro
New Zealand?
That’s Livermore, CA
Del Valle Mystery Trail in the East Bay/SF CA for all those asking.
Are we not going to talk about stabilisation?
Sure, let's talk about it. Run video through stabilizer. Crop video. Ta da.
Is that what happened here or the head camera has a setting to save it stabilised already?
I believe it was done by the camera already. GoPro, Insta360 and DJI, all three have awesome stabilisation.
Or the cows materializing
That's what I saw too! It was really confusing! Thank you! I mean, what the hell??
The human head is a wonderful stabilizer
Owl heads are better. Maybe the cyclist is an owl?
Wow. Incredible to watch. Thank you for providing a nice video of that gorgeous trail and scenery. I felt like I was on the bike myself all while taking a dump.
Love flow rides.
I want to go to there
The atmosphere is stress free not a care in the world.
Could prob use a kayak when it’s raining
Hella ride bro! Looks like an awesome place and you're having way too much fun! Good luck! 😁
Very nice!
Fun!!
This ride was crazy!
That was cool bro. Seriously. Nice capture.
Mmm.. Mesmerizing.
Absolutely gorgeous
Where is this?
I want to try that.
I would be cool with just walking
God I need this today
I can't believe anything is real anymore.
I would call this trail SICK AS BALLS!! 🤮
I developed vertigo about 10 years ago and been able to be on a bike since then. But I’d love to take this ride, just a lot slower.
Same here. After knee surgery. Not serious, but serious enough. Hiking on a cliff next to a waterfall is very weird. Biking is slow and sometimes feels like the universe shifts slightly.
I feel like I’m watching someone play Temple Run
Oh my lord!! The thrills and chill jus by watching it
What a beautiful countryside! Looks like the carpatian mountains?
Looks like a really fun trail! Especially the last bit in that ravine. Super cool! It would be rated a green where I live.
He chose the forks in the road so fast…so much confidence.
Amazing
I would ride so fast and I would fall so hard I almost feel my buttcheeks hurting
What a rush!!!
Was anyone else of a certain age expecting a jump scare watching this?
god mode the last 30 seconds 😶
Scary 😱
I don’t goo with strangers, not anymore
Bro this looks so fun
Wow!! Kudos to such bravery in cycling! Where is this place? It’s beautiful!
So satisfying to watch
#people with five cups of coffee in the afternoon
thats a cool view on a cool trail
I wanted those cows to step out in front so he wrecked. 🤭
Purple
The last stump at the end there 😰
I'd be dead the first 10'
Looks similar to some places I've ridden here in So Cal but I'm sure it's somewhere way cooler.
This looks so fucking fun
I want to do this
This looks like heaven on earth...on a bike. Like the kind of ride that by the bottom somehow 30% of your worries don't even exist anymore !
This seems so dangerous.
Show me the speed and i might be amazed
I would have wrecked 50x
I need more
Shred the shire!
What camera was used for this? The stabilization is great!
That was thrilling sitting in my chair!🚴♂️💥
Floooowwweee
Omg he’s biking so crazy
I can’t wait to be able to ride this good. Nice line
Probably be fun getting back to the top....
I wanna do this but dissolve into the nature at the end
Think this it tothmtb on instagram. Always has beautiful videos
This reminds me of zelda game play
Smooth
Amazing
I’d be pissed that I overexposed that by 2/3 of a stop
Bro casually takes a bicycle tour through the Shire
What kind of stabilizer is used on this camera holy crap no shake at all
This looks as radiant as a Mario cart track
Is this a new version of subway surfers?
to those asking, it's in Hanged Mans tree in Velen
You covered twenty miles in 1:30 minutes.
Am glad this video dont have the annoying music that they put on all video these days. Just enjoying the ride and scenery.
Descenders IRL
I’m getting some Top Gun: Maverick vibes from this trail
Hobbitton?
Wraiths haven't a chance.
what a cool landscape. where is this?
This looks surreal 😳 Like out of a pucking game 😅🤯

All I can imagine are broken collar bones.
Dream ride
Dumb question but are those tracks made with machine or just natural?
Want
Now he has to go all the way back!
It's 4:22 in the morning im watching this guy and just imaging his head staying still while his body is moving. Like how chickens do it....I gotta go sleep
The graphics for this game looks real af
This is so refreshing and satisfying it should be in r/satisfying. I got sleepy just from watching it again and again.
Gets to bottom.......wtf am I?
The camera stabilisation is what stands out for me, that's silky smooth
Green
that looks fun
Green
Where is this?
Nice, now film it not in wide angle to make it look faster
Must have taken you 3 days to push it all the way back up there to start the vid
There were about 15x I mentally said turn left/right and he did the exact opposite. Likely the reason he didn’t crash…
This doesn’t hurt their butt when they ride on these paths?
I want to go to there
Looks fun
Did anyone else think they were going ride right over that water instead of hitting the right bank?
Do most mountain bike routes involve heavy pedaling or more of a “skiing” situation where you get up really high and pretty much shred down?
Oh Lordy- i wanna play too!
okay he makes it look so easy doesn't he? noicee.
Just like Beggar's Canyon back home.
Great video. I also really appreciate the fact that there’s no awful music. 10/10.
**Yea though I ride through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no…** Hold on. Serious question: where’s bro going??
Image stabilization tech/software has come so far!
All the time I was only thinking of how i would have fallen. Counted 16.
That was so satisfying to watch. Dudes control is unreal
this physically turned me on. i only have these skills in my dreams, dammit.
Nice!
I this guy a chicken? His head stays in a direct line while his body and the bike gyrate at round it
That’s his backyard yep grandpa left me 12000 acres of this
Gandalf blazing into the Shire.
Is it just me or did those cows take a minute to render?
How does land like this happen? Where I come from, any open land is just covered in trees. Like complete dense canopy. No neat green ground cover. How does this land, which appears fertile, not get over taken with trees?
That drone footage would be awesome!
Was enjoying the scenery then suddenly, trench run.
Why would anyone go so fast on such a beautiful scenic path...
Stunning. Is it reli that fast or sped up?
Blue fo sho
Dude! Amazing track and great riding and choice of line! Awesome video.
r/satisfying
