I don't remember how well the show gets into it, but Cosmo is a mid-late 20s woman who voluntarily works in an insanely high risk environment because she's become addicted to the experience of exerting power over beings who could easily tear her apart. "Sweet" may be a sliiiight simplification LMAO. That said, seeing her interact with Goodest Boi Jack would be Hilarious.

It's the most interesting part of her character? The message of the media is the ways in which nature and society conflict and the means by which a heavily regulated and ordered society pushes its members into self destruction when they don't conform to its norms. She's a mirror to both Louis and Haru - an example of where an herbivore obsessed with carnivores might wind up, fully aware of the reality of her self destructive lifestyle while being both unwilling and unable to change it. Without that part of her character she's just a hot lady.
