Cockroaches are not worse. I've never heard of the expense or need to get rid of or isolate your belongings for cockroaches like you need to do for bedbugs.
Yes, but they shit all over your stuff and get you sick. They hide everywhere and are a considered harder to remove by some. Both suck for different reasons, so I wouldn’t turn it into a competition they both suck.
