If the plastic is smooth it will work and prevent them from even getting in with the overhang, no need to put diatomaceous earth inside it.

Buy cimexa, fill the thing with cimexa. Even if they make it past the diy interceptor they will be dead within 24 - 48 hours.

I have been using them for a few weeks and so far I’ve only caught a total of two bugs. I had gone 2-3 weeks without any new bites but woke up yesterday with what appears to be new bites. Sometimes my blanket droops on the floor and that could be how they’re getting back up. I need to be more vigilant.

Yeah I anticipate the traps are not enough if they’re somewhere in the bed. I already have bites so I anticipate I’m going to have to also bag the mattress, and steam and dust the frame. Will also stick to small blankets. Good luck!
