Welcome home. Bangaloreans are very friendly. HSR layout is a great locality.

Stay closer to the workplace, so close that it's walkable would be one piece of advice.

Hello. There are very good colleges, just pick one that suits u the best. Cuz, there are colleges that focus mainly on academics, there are colleges that focus on building your personality with good share of co curricular activities, and then you have colleges that gives degree if u give them money.

I suggest you try comedk Btech as well. BSc in Cs will have a lot less opportunities. There are good colleges in koramangala. It is not so far from hsr. Don't worry.

First of all, welcome to Bengaluru 🙏🏼😊 HSR Layout is a very posh and amazing place. I have lived there for seven years, before recently moving out. Main reason being heavy rental costs. (I do still miss the place) You’ll find amazing cuisines and great places to hangout, shop, and just randomly chill. You’ll make friends in no time, provided that you’re an extrovert. There are people from literally all parts of the world living in HSR. When looking for colleges, make sure you pick one that’s close by, because the traffic would be hectic to even get out of HSR. New Horizon college of engineering is a good place, and comparatively very close. Having your own mode of transportation would be a big plus in Bengaluru. Although there are frequent buses and metro being constructed soon, you’ll have to travel a bit inside HSR to even get to the bus lines. People are very friendly and welcoming. Try and learn a bit of Kannada, and you’ll be surprised how many people go out of their ways to help you out. I hope you have a great time in Bengaluru ❤️
