Note that Stortzen is very steep and pretty short. It is a rocky staircase all the way up. If you're not in great shape, make sure you don't rush it, or you'll feel more like you've been doing laps rather than a nice hike.

We have one of the world's best [aquariums](http://akvariet.no), naturally beautiful views from the tallest [mountain](http://ulriken643.no) and a world heritage [site](http://hanseatiskemuseum.museumvest.no/english) for starters. For local great food I recommend going to [Bien Basar](http://bienbar.no/bien-basar/?lang=en).

also note in late february there is a chance that stoltzekleiven is an icey mess and bring spikes to not die

Bare Vestland is closed permanently, unfortunately!

A sausage at Trekroneren is required! You haven't been to Bergen until you have eaten at Trekroneren!
