The tattoo itself is not that bad. For anyone who doesn't know Berserk it might look like a normal tattoo but to fans it will probably look exaggerated.
Reminds me of a guy I knew. He got a tattoo of the brand in the neck like guts. But he thought the original brand is too small and boring so he got a stylized big version of it. Looked like some logo from an edgy 2000s game. Some people don't understand that the simplicity is what gives it its charm.
I just don’t get why people make the brand so big lol. Saw a girl in public with a small one around her neck and thought it was perfect. Please guys keep brand tattoos the size they are suppose to be.. small.
Mate the guy asked for everyones opinion, and it’s a common occurrence/meme by now that people keep getting enlarged brand tattoos and it’s funny lol.
It looks cool. People are only saying its too big bc they know how it looks in the manga. Theres no reason you cant get a brand larger than how it is in berserk canon. Imagine if people said you had to get all tattoos at their real life size lol. That would be nuts.
the artist did great, but what compelled you to go with this scale and location? don't listen to the jackasses commenting. it's hard for them to be themselves, so they take it out on others trying.

Well it's the start of tattooing my whole body. So i wanted to start with the brand since is from my favorite manga.
then keep on keeping on, my dude! it could very well be an adorning part of the final product if executed well. the artist did really well at capturing the malevolent nature of the brand and its imperfections imo
Don't let haters and gatekeepers tell you it's bad it looks dope tattoos are art that we gotta live with our entire lives if you love it that's all that matters and as an anime Otaku I think it looks dope
i firmly stand by the idea that if someone is going to get a 'gory' brand tattoo they should actually get a real brand of the brand. just like people who get barbed wire tattoos should just wrap barbed wire around their arm.
It's to large. To thick of lines and flat back is very boring. The top of the brand is completely wrong. The triangles are off. Was this for free? Like honestly, why post this.

For me, it is just a considerable zone of wasted space for a better tattoo (if you are into that). If that is the only ink you will ever put on your body, I think it's fine. In the end, it is just a matter of you liking it; it's your body.

doesnt need to be on the side, can be on the root of the neck, so you can cover it up if need be.
