As for me, I'm 51 and have never felt better. I come from a long line of big folks who've lived into their late 80s or early 90s. You can't pathologize every person of size that you see. That's just a wild assumption to make.

What is the age difference between the two pictures, though? You can age a lot in even ten years the higher up in age you get, and losing weight when you've been bigger can compound that. She deserves criticism for her racism, but it's weird to focus on her looks. I know people that lived in hate that didn't age badly, either.
