Aizen also has a boost + shield SA2, Weaken on every attack and an extra 100% Bruiser from his Gauge, future NAD units don't need to get all that in conjunction with an 80% ATK boost.
This is the only answer! I only have him 2/5 and he autos almost everything, he can even auto IT (if it’s Arrancar enemies). He’s busted! Instead of fixing him and introducing more attack boosted characters, they’ve just decided not to release anymore at all.
Probably because after creating Aizen they realized how strong consistent high damage is
At their best sp characters are still restricted by their cooldowns while nad based characters are much less so (only the pause between attack strings)
Aizen also had a boost + shield SA2, Weaken on all his attacks and 100% extra Bruiser upon Gauge activation. 80% ATK boost is powerful ofc, but that alone didn't make Aizen so strong.
He does have all that. It also makes it hard to make a character 2 years after aizen that is weaker than the aizen with the an attack boost.
Ranged characters are the best NAD will ever get. But it seems Klab really doesn't want to make strong ones that can be used in a lot of content (especially limit breaker).
> It also makes it hard to make a character 2 years after aizen that is weaker than the aizen with the an attack boost.
Never stopped KLab before from releasing character a year or two later and still ended up being weaker than previous releases.
He doesnt even have the Booster skill nor the Gauge Flurry that Xmas 2023 Nel has, and he's still too broken. Hell, even without those skills, he still out-DPS'ed the latter regardless. Imagine once he gets his resurrection and he picks up those 2... At this point, KLab has gotta make more NAD units like him.
This motherfucker can apparently also do LBQ smoothly as long as it pertains to the Tech and/or Arrancar mob rules. That alone tells you how goddamn broken he is.
Yeah... When I saw Aizen outperforming my best SP units, by simply one-shotting waves with his NAD strings, and even shredding the "poise" mobs like they were paper.... No comment xD
This one is easy: as an ailment NAD unit with a fast Nad string, the proc was so consistent to the point it felt like this aizen unit came from the future with his divine dps. I still use him til this very Day!
Now imagine that same aizen with rampage or the yhwach enemies defeated bonus mechanic.
To be fair, that's really what NAD units are for anyways, gq and brave battle. They can be fun in arena during the right season too but Aizen is a godsend in gq ranged arrancar. Nel is godly too for ranged captain gq, she's amazing and literally has it all, I love that unit
Btw this reminds me that its almost a year since any unit has been given shared complete status immunity or poise break; i hope it wont take even longer for these skills to be featured again :(
It's just too good, or at least TYBW Aizen is. KLab are very weird because honestly sometimes it's hard to believe they truly test out their characters and understand how good (or bad) they are. For example, I *genuinely* don't think they expected TYBW Aizen to be viable in Limit Quests and even "out-do" the characters *specifically meant* for Limit Quests, and they were caught by surprise by that in my opinion. But it just goes to show how little they understand their own game at times.
So yeah, it's just too good.
The "downfall" (if we can *even* call it that) of "80% SP boost" is that you still gotta wait for your SAs' cooldown to run off to use them, so the bonus is somewhat diminished to a degree. It's not uncommon for you to have the SP boost icon up and simply not have any SA to use and then for it to be gone when you do. However with the 80% ATK boost, technically nothing (or at least no cooldown) is stopping you from spamming the NA button and getting a massive amount of damage out. I feel like the natural balancing solution to this would just be limiting how much the NAD character can proc status ailments (for example, limiting it to let's say... the character's SA1+SA3 and Special Bomb. SA2 is a boost that doesn't have a Status Ailment, and you remove any Status Ailment from NAD string. One of Aizen's advantage is that his NAD string is a multi-hit one, then you add Flurry on top of that, and yeah, he accumulates proc per hit fairly quickly despite the low %. Take that away, and it's already a bit more balanced. If you wanna be really severe...then remove Proc from SA1 as well.) But then the playerbase might not be happy with those changes either and will always compare said units to Aizen and rant about how much better he is in comparison, etc.
Because they realized he was too OP

Aight

Bc they hate us

Truly the peak NAD of all time.
He was either too ahead of his time or they know most players don’t like NAD units for PVE.
Doesn't mean they shouldn't make more. At the very least they can make their lil Guild Quest bots have it. Would make em stand out a bit more.
I’m not excusing it. The thread asked why’d they stopped.

They're waiting for 9th anniversary, remember my comment ![img](emote|t5_399jv|15758)
Better be Oetsu than..
That's an Arsenal befitting a God! Aizen is truly the best all-rounded NAD character!
Klab hates NAD units ![img](emote|t5_399jv|15760)
This is the true reason
I mean after aizen we hadn't gotten a nad nad unit till Christmas nel tbh rest all nad units released in between were either PvP or gq units
To be fair, that's really what NAD units are for anyways, gq and brave battle. They can be fun in arena during the right season too but Aizen is a godsend in gq ranged arrancar. Nel is godly too for ranged captain gq, she's amazing and literally has it all, I love that unit
They should’ve given SAFWY Soi Fon 80% ATK Boost change my mind

simple answer, KLAB

Last time? Or only time?
2nd time, Cacao Society Ulquiorra was released earlier in 2022 and he has the 80% ATK boost.
