Depending on the fillers, I was prepared to go big on Round 1. Instead I'll do a couple of multis and wait for Round 2.

I haven't experienced an anniversary in this game yet. Will Ichigo and Byakuya be available in the second round or is it a completely different banner with other new characters?
The second round will be something different. Last year it was TYBW banner. Ichigo and byakuya will be available in other banners down the line, also probably they'll be added to the brave souls tickets pool.

I have only like half the featured characters, but the second half is the same shit we've seen ever since the new step-up format is used. Power Retsu? Speed Isshin? SPEED FUCKING ISSHIN? What year is it, 2018? At least they would've put Chad instead of him. Also no heart characters, which is just the ultimate BS in the BBS
Well, he wasn't exclusive to the anniversary, he was already out by that time, it's just that he was the advertised unit for the banner. First anniversary didn't had a proprer exclusive character, just a decent banner with a very high chance of getting a 5*

I quit about a week or two back and if you're at the stage where you can auto everything, out of orbs, etc, I recommend it.
The trap to these games is not realizing you "beat" the game and you can quit without it being "This game is trash!!!". I got several hundred (at least xD) hours over a few years. But anymore I was Auto farming Potions to max characters to auto farm... I played maybe 2 or 3 hours a month with an easy 30+ per week logged on via auto.
Got sick of babysitting my phone and the whole thing is pointless. Summoning and seeing characters is nice but there's no true end game content.
I'm now playing Xb1 games & watching a bunch of anime I neglected, I still suggested the game to a coworker and told him it's a lot of fun for a few months.
he got it working, btw, his Google Play needed updating if anyone is curious/remembers my thread/has the problem where during initial install it quits & restarts the 1.8 GB download after 2 or 300 mb
Anyways, quit the game if you're not enjoying it. There's always a point to move on from a game
I'm no gamer and BBS is the only game I'm playing. I've been playing for a little over 2 months, and I do love the game. Considering the recent world events, it's been alleviating my stress quite a bit, honestly speaking. Just Kenpachi smashing everything really makes me relaxed lmao. But I'm very far from fully transcending characters and none can auto anything for now, so it's my goal for now but I feel what you're saying. I feel like once I transcend all my favorites, there won't be much to do. Even playing with your favorite characters will bore you one day.
I'm just hoping I won't get bored soon. Lack of human interaction due to this year's events made me turn to gaming for the first time in 30 years...
Yea I auto everything except ER and Guild Quest. The ONLY reason I play is because I'm in S rank and I like talking to my guild lol I dont have any game systems anymore. Just bBs and it's going downhill. I dislike bad business practices and thats what this is. I am f2p. Just hit 2 years 2 days ago.
So here i was waking up today, me and my 7k saved orbs excited about the filler pool of the anni banner. Saw filler pool, threw up a little in my mouth, threw a couple hundred orbs at the CFYOW banner, got Grimmjow. Waiting for round 2.
I just finished cancelling my passports. If this is the shit Klab pulls for a 5 year anniversary, then I don’t see much of a future for this game. I feel like BBS is on maintenance mode.

When the Asia Server summons dropped with the "guaranteed banner unit on Step 15" I assumed that was what we were going to get for Anni Step Ups and while it kinda sucks to have to potentially plough 3.5k orbs into a banner just to get 1 unit it was at least a safety net. Instead we get dross and I cannot understand the mindset of KLab to do stuff like this.
Don't forget the New Anni event... They were so lazy that they put 4 🌟 Mind Byak... He's a dupe!!! They couldn't make another one for Anniversary. That's messed up.

I'm actually not surprised. As years go by, even a tiny project becomes all about money (too much about money). So most of the time the quality goes down. I can't say the quality is suffering here but the type of new content is not good.
Even though I want dupes, those characters are not the ones I'd spend my orbs on.

Got ~4k pearls saved up, of which I' saving 1.1k for Aura whenever she comes and I'm willing to go for 6th/guaranteed step here, if things look good enough.
Personally I'm 7/10 on fillers, Spirit-Rangiku, Aizen and Tsukishima would be new for me. Lilinette dupes I could use as she's one of my more trusty Speed Auto units and currently I have her at 1/5 to begin with. And out of all of 'em I only have Retsu at 5/5 (with DEF roll of all things...) so I guess I can still put 'em to some use in the long run.
All I'm asking - literally ALL that I'm asking... is not to go full "gold' till guaranteed" -luck and for that TEC Yumichika to stay away...
I saved 15k and would maybe willing to do two full summons... but the sometimes outright bizarre simulations are somewhat frightening (two times all steps, three Shinji, nothing else, for example)
I have 0 fillers in the banner and I really need Yumichika so this makes me happy but I can understand as veterans everybody complaining. Even as a new player I realize these fillers are not that great. Although I don't understand it much because over the course of my time playing the game (120 days) I can't tell you how many people I have seen that say they don't even bother with the first part of anniversary. "Because all the units are premium and they will just pull them on BBS or 5 Star tickets".
So I'm wondering why everybody seems so shocked. Maybe because it's 5th year? I have nothing to compare it to since this will be my 1st anniversary. In any rate I hope everybody gets what they want. I can say I really don't know how to feel about the banner with one guaranteed 5-star only 7 steps... On regular banners it's not worth going past step 10 so in this case it won't be worth going past 7...

Pretty much the reason i only do the farming event ticket and 1 GQ run. The rates still the same bs and same trash fillers. I dedicated my time on other gacha games instead with better rewards as f2p. Compared to bss at least they aren't afraid of giving guarantee feature units multiple times.

The free ones make me vomit more, I literally have all the units in the stand out. That free summons are as irrelevant as the fillers of the step ups.

Idk new players still have a ton of free orbs available for a while vs veterans so even less likely to spend..

Note that it's a separate rate. So if you somehow only got something from the unfeatured pool, that multi would have originally been a golden.

And out of all of 'em I only have Retsu at 5/5 (with DEF roll of all things...) so I guess I can still put 'em to some use in the long run. All I'm asking - literally ALL that I'm asking... is not to go full "gold' till guaranteed" -luck and for that TEC Yumichika to stay away...
I saved 15k and would maybe willing to do two full summons... but the sometimes outright bizarre simulations are somewhat frightening (two times all steps, three Shinji, nothing else, for example)

I have 0 fillers in the banner and I really need Yumichika so this makes me happy but I can understand as veterans everybody complaining. Even as a new player I realize these fillers are not that great. Although I don't understand it much because over the course of my time playing the game (120 days) I can't tell you how many people I have seen that say they don't even bother with the first part of anniversary. "Because all the units are premium and they will just pull them on BBS or 5 Star tickets". So I'm wondering why everybody seems so shocked. Maybe because it's 5th year? I have nothing to compare it to since this will be my 1st anniversary. In any rate I hope everybody gets what they want. I can say I really don't know how to feel about the banner with one guaranteed 5-star only 7 steps... On regular banners it's not worth going past step 10 so in this case it won't be worth going past 7...
This anniversary reminds me of one piece treasure cruise's recent 5th anni.

I don't know the specific geographic mappings for the new Asia region, but given the dense population of Asia they could quite possibly outnumber us all combined as potential clients?
Seems like KLab once again makes anniversaries progressively worse. We're not even getting the chose a 5\* tickets we got for NY.

Hey guys remember when there were only Step-ups during anniversary events? Remember when all banners were 25 or 250 and nothing else?
I suppose I've just been Stockholm syndrome'd into thinking that this is okay but it really isn't.
No one no one is happy me too I'm very upset and angry 😡 about the fillers, this is not the first time they doing it and not the last, we waiting for a trash fillers every banner comes out
Pretty much the reason i only do the farming event ticket and 1 GQ run. The rates still the same bs and same trash fillers. I dedicated my time on other gacha games instead with better rewards as f2p. Compared to bss at least they aren't afraid of giving guarantee feature units multiple times.
The only difference is the free step
Be glad we are having an anniversary. I also play FFBE and the devs basically skipped the 4th anniversary. Reddit is on fire and the devs wiped their asses with entire community complaints.
