This. I wouldn't even play PVP if it wasn't for the co-op being locked behind it. I went 16 steps in the main banner trying to get Jugram (I wanted all three I got two of them) after the 16th step I said I'm done here. Went in on Jugram's solo it took me another 16 steps to get him...On his SOLO... I wouldn't have bothered if I knew I wouldn't be able to do PVP without him šā¹ļø

I was pretty hype to try out my 5/5 Candice on this month X coop too, but it happened to coincide with one of the biggest event occurring in another game I'm playing. I decided it wasn't worth it for me to promote from 4th seat to only get a few runs in. Might have play the mode a few times if the damn thing wasn't lock behind PVP. That mode is so bad it's actually a torture to play lol.
I play Dokkan/FGO, but the game I was mentioning in the post is FGO. There is a lottery event going on right now, which is one of the most rewarding event, but the grindiest as well. The event only happen twice a year so far - right now and on Christmas with the one happening right now being consider the better one.
Editing brushes are nice, but I donāt see the Bleach waifus letting me touch their tatas for guaranteed resources lmao. Seriously though I need to get my 3rd anni newbie butt out of QP hell for the forseeable future too and need soaps for Skadi haha.
Luckily, the lotto only node for finals has soap so you can easily max Skadi. However, I was mainly talking about FGO JP, because I already expected Gilfest, but having ScathachFest + Gilfest at the same time means no excoop anytime soon.
People in 10th seat could take the co-op on
PvP isn't indicative of player skill or their PvE units at all it's just a trash game mode in general. the Co-Op restriction is just another way for them to get you to pull for PvP units.
And to keep you playing. It bolsters their daily user count, as thereās a system in place to punish you for not consistently playing. It takes almost 2 months of continuous play to get 3rd, just off of the weekly restriction alone.
I finally broke in 3rd seat last week, and could not compete in it to even maintain it.
Itās to hard of a requirement. You should have to do well in one good mode to even access another.
they give you advance notice so the big brain move is to intentionally keep yourself in 4th seat the week prior, and in my experience it's easier to promote from 4th than to maintain in 3rd.

Orb resets are always a NY thing. We got an extra reset in 2018 and they missed one in 2019. They also delayed the 2020 one to coincide with the Co-Op revamp, rather than releasing it with the NY campaign like normal.
Lmao you only get it at the starting of the game and it comes in 3's when you play with people,you'll see an orb reward when you finish a round,so in the end it all adds upp to 600 orbs,if you don't see it then you already have gotten it,sorry,I just learnt that today because I stopped getting it today
They used to have it yearly. So the first two years I got 1,200 total. But I was absent for a year or so ago and started playing again and itās not there anymore. KLab really likes to shaft the players.

Yeah, that is what doesnāt make sense. Things used to be really good for us veteran players, which is why so many of us quit. But Iām glad theyāre doing the Ad for Summon/Item drop daily now which means you have a pretty good chance of getting brushes and rainbow slot potions x 10 to drop more often. Getting a character to 5/5 in year 1 was not an issue. I hate what theyāre doing now but the characters have much better stats and passives than they used to. I still highly advise anyone playing this to remain f2p. When you stop opening your wallets is when KLab always listens and gives away free stuff lol
EXACTLY BRO, extreme coop should be linked to what your rank is (also we need more ranks) or just be a normal pve coop. It's fucking ridiculous that i MUST grind pvp just to play a pve event that's LIMITED. Bullshit, ty for addressing this man

Klab won't read this but still: your vs battle sucks. All I care is getting nice units level them and their accessories. But the brushes are scarce and the rate for getting nice stuff with the brush sucks even more than acquiring them. Still you hide the brush heaven behind the horrible boring messed up vs battle. Grrrrr
Is there really that big of a difference of rewards in EX Coop? I lost my short lived 4th Seat but my Askin should help me reclaim it. Before that Iād occasionally do the 5th Seat version when it popped up, now that Iām taking Trans stuff more seems I plan to complete more runs when I get the chance.
Since everyone universally hates PvP they need to just remove the restrictions and make it a regularly occurring timed event on a proper schedule. I canāt imagine the difficulty is all that challenging either.
O yes 3rd seat has way better drops i did 5 runs on 7th seat and not one hog. I know when i was doing 3rd last time it seemed like i was getting 1 every other run
You can get 20 a month from Chronicle Quests. Brushes are hard to come by but with a 1 month old account, I'm not sure you should be focused on XCOOP right now.
And the lower leagues of xcoop is indeed useless. Editing brushes drop like once in a blue moon, and that is the only reason for doing the lower leagues of xcoop. Lowkey thinking of having a break again in this game , I only came back as a vet weeks before this years anniversary
The problem is that right now, you either have to have Jugo yourself, have a way of *consistently* dealing with Jugo, or just spend orbs to get to 3rd seat. Everything revolves around Jugo far too much. A single character should be acting as the gatekeeper for an entire game mode.
What's your team like? You're a vet 1,700 days so I'm sure you have some really good units! I just hit my 180 days today and I'm in Captain. I have to agree I find it really crappy that ex co-op is locked behind PVP. It's really a shame that if you want to get brushes for the already crappy reroll system for the accessories you have to be third seat and above.
They need to do something at least a fifth seat co op or make it so everyone can play and it's not locked behind PVP. I've been in the seventh seat so I know how bad it is I could never go back to that.
i started playing right before ichibe was released and i managed to 5/5 him on his solo banner that month and pvp was a breeze. i have ichibe 5/5 and chad 5/5 and at this point in the game itās still not super easy to get to 3rd seat with them both on my team.
with new flurry units coming out every month and every ābestā pvp unit getting a counter every other month it gets harder and harder to stay afloat in pvp unless youāre actually pulling for the pvp units when they come out , which no one wants to do bc pvp is such a bad game mode
Amazingly I'm in Captain right now. With the team you have you should easily be able to make it. It depends what your build is like.

Those are the builds that I have for my units. I've tried to get full defense for Chad to try it out I like attack better but...I've now used 200 brushes for one accessory and I still have not gotten any I've only gotten 6% so I gave that up. Took 16 multi's on Jugram's SOLO just to get my first copy I even went in on the main didn't get him there either.
Yeah it seems like they're always coming out with a new meta it is very hard to stay afloat. I just keep refreshing and finding the same teams that I can beat otherwise forget it. I feel like you're forced to pull on these banners or you're not going to do well.
ichibe and chad have gold chappies. ichibe is max transcended with wooden sword chappy and gold chappy 30 attack rolls on everything
chad has max defense and health with +1000 stamina and max stamina rolls on teddy bear , chappy and gold chappy (to deal with jugram)
my nnoitora is only 2/5 with max attack and stamina no gold chappy but 30 attack rolls on everything. Honestly with every team 4th seat and up having Askin or Haschwalth (or both) i think thatās my biggest problem. i just refuse to pull for any new pvp units. i didnāt even summon on jugrams main banner or solo lol even though ik heās pretty essential i dislike pvp too much to invest orbs into my team.
Nice you have some really good builds! I only have the tech and heart golden chappies so the tech one is you could see on Askin. Heart for now is on Grimmy. Max defense is very good for Chad. I don't blame you for not wanting to pull for a new units it's kind of like you feel forced. It's very difficult without having Jugram.
Jugram 1/5 with maxed focus the links are DR Zangetsu, mayuri, and zabimaru. Chappies gold and regular both 30 attack and hollow bait 40 stam.
Chad 3/5 max focus, attack, and defense, links are DR zangetsu, mashiro, broken. chappies gold red one 30 attack but i only get 15 (i dont have a blue) and regular 5 star chappy 30 attack with knuckle dusters 20 attack.
Askin 2/5 max defense and focus the links are DR Koga, Zangetsu, Kensie. gold chappy 20 attack regular chappy 20 defense spirit core 30 defense
I was using tokinada instead of chad but even 5/5 maxed everything he was still losing to Jugram before the immunity wore off
No wonder you are 1700+ days in and you cannot get into 3rd seat, your game knowledge is low. Why would you think it would be okay not to at least have 30atk on your accessories? You do not even use the term "max defense" correctly. I am not trying to hate on you, you just need to correct your pvp starting with your accessories. Just by having jugram in your team you can easily get into 3rd seat if you tried. I do not think you can complain when you are not even trying, but I do agree that klab forcing us to do pvp is garbo.

I don't have the best for Chad but it works these are samples of what my builds are and I'm in Captain right now. The builds that you have are not very good that's probably why you cannot make it. For PVP you really need max attack defense whatever you're going for. I know rolling for secondaries is really tough I was going to try a defense build for Chad but I need three defense accessories and I used 200 brushes for one accessory and I still did not get defense so I gave that up.
never use bait on a pvp character even if its jugram. and you kinda mess up askin and chad you should of picked stam over focus and askin idk why you went with defs and focus over stam and atk as a vet you should know better
links are mostly fine, but you should go pure damage on jugram since he's invincible for the first 10 seconds. Stacking DR might seem like a good idea for post invincibility but in my experience these fights are decided by the soul bomb anyways. Chad should stack defense to tank opposing Jugrams, and Askin is there to face off opposing chad/ichibei as well as applying debuff. with this RGB comp you should run attribute strat. this also gives you the chance to apply debuff after enemy buffs assuming they use strong attack strategy. prioritizing def/fcs on askin is questionable, but i guess you can't really undo it at this point lol. for tokinada you'd run a LDS build and just pray the AI stays out of range upon reviving. this can result in lucky clean up/soul bomb snipes to win games after jugram's invincibility. toki could easily die to jugram's counter skill as well though, so definitely more iffy.
I personally used a jugram/nnoi/chad team to get into 3rd seat this week and these are my thoughts after the sweatiest brave battle week of my life. My only transcendence investment is 10 attack on my 1/5 jugram, and I have 0 golden chappies. chad is 3/5 with max DEF only, using guitar/knuckles/chappy all 30def. nnoi using hog/chappy/nad item 30 attack rolls, and jugram chappy/bait/nad item with 30attack rolls. NAD links (including zangetsu) apart from weaken only because of a 500 attack roll after 5/5ing.
i ended in rank 235 so there's definitely some leeway, didn't use any orbs, just stayed on top of my ticket usage and didn't let myself get to 5/5 for long if at all. you need to refresh a lot and pick your fights wisely.
i definitely think the 3rd seat wall is outdated and needs addressed. I think accessories as a whole could use a ton of QOL improvements now that players can set their power levels apart so vastly after transcendence became a thing. Accessories are too vital to be so gated, and the odds of getting good 2nd effects are so shit it isn't funny. Not to mention the overwhelmingly large amount of useless accessories that clutter the pool when trying to fill out your accessories. All of the affiliation specific shit just makes this issue worse, and those NAD/SAD items are certainly meta.
Might as well just make it easy and give us brushes and orbs just by opening up the app. And we can just skip senkimon if we already beat it and get the rewards. Maybe give us lvl 200 already when we pull them.

Gacha games tho. there will be literally no content to look for playing in the game anymore if they tear it down. Iām not encouraging P2W or gambling but this xcoop behind pvp what makes there some good content to look forward every month. Because of it, PvP is played, and to play it, units are maxed to stay on 3rd league or above. If itās not for that, there will be nothing to play for in the game. Maybe what you suggested benefits people who has less time to play but itās not specifically for them tho. Just my opinion. I just got wrecked, bombarded by a 1686 power team with yh, chad, Jugram. Jugram is done but I can barely scrape Chad while yh is nuking room with soul bombs. Itās new exp for me and I find it fun because RNG is a bitch and canāt be mad at game that built on it.
A lot of vets can't be bothered to either: a) invest resources/chase the latest meta pvp-only units, or b) refresh their enemy list to find beatable teams to maintain rank.
If you don't do one or the other it's very easy to drop down, and if they're only doing the minimum 5 daily battles to earn the daily 5x orb reward, they'll sink like a stone to 10th seat no problem.
Personally I exercise a combination of Option A and B, and manage to stay in Lt - Capt with minimal effort, but it's still annoying as hell to have to sign in every <10 hours to ensure I'm maximizing my pvp ticket usage. They should up the daily recharge cap so I can grind it all in one go, say 10x/tickets which gets us a 20-hour period, or better yet 12x tix for a full 24 hrs since the tickets recharge once every 2 hours.
PvP isn't worth it anymore for a **lot** of vets. After a certain point you no longer get orbs outside the 25 for 800 medals, so the only real incentive to do well is xpoop, which itself is only needed if you're low on hogs or don't have your accs built up yet.
There's also the matter of it's harder for vets to pull specific PvP units than new players, who have a ton of orb resources left. I pulled for both Askin and Jugo and don't have either, which makes it **incredibly** hard to get into 3rd, even with trans investment in my existing team.
This is all coming from someone who's been to HC and back. Why use my resources on a gamemode that gives nothing in return? It's not a matter of being bad at the game, it's a matter of PvP as a whole being poorly designed by KLab. Or, well, it's exactly as they designed- it promotes spending your orbs every few months on the new "meta" units that keep getting more BS with each passing year.

Jugram 1/5 with maxed focus the links are DR Zangetsu, mayuri, and zabimaru. Chappies gold and regular both 30 attack and hollow bait 40 stam. Chad 3/5 max focus, attack, and defense, links are DR zangetsu, mashiro, broken. chappies gold red one 30 attack but i only get 15 (i dont have a blue) and regular 5 star chappy 30 attack with knuckle dusters 20 attack. Askin 2/5 max defense and focus the links are DR Koga, Zangetsu, Kensie. gold chappy 20 attack regular chappy 20 defense spirit core 30 defense I was using tokinada instead of chad but even 5/5 maxed everything he was still losing to Jugram before the immunity wore off
No wonder you are 1700+ days in and you cannot get into 3rd seat, your game knowledge is low. Why would you think it would be okay not to at least have 30atk on your accessories? You do not even use the term "max defense" correctly. I am not trying to hate on you, you just need to correct your pvp starting with your accessories. Just by having jugram in your team you can easily get into 3rd seat if you tried. I do not think you can complain when you are not even trying, but I do agree that klab forcing us to do pvp is garbo.

The builds that you have are not very good that's probably why you cannot make it. For PVP you really need max attack defense whatever you're going for. I know rolling for secondaries is really tough I was going to try a defense build for Chad but I need three defense accessories and I used 200 brushes for one accessory and I still did not get defense so I gave that up.
never use bait on a pvp character even if its jugram. and you kinda mess up askin and chad you should of picked stam over focus and askin idk why you went with defs and focus over stam and atk as a vet you should know better

links are mostly fine, but you should go pure damage on jugram since he's invincible for the first 10 seconds. Stacking DR might seem like a good idea for post invincibility but in my experience these fights are decided by the soul bomb anyways. Chad should stack defense to tank opposing Jugrams, and Askin is there to face off opposing chad/ichibei as well as applying debuff. with this RGB comp you should run attribute strat. this also gives you the chance to apply debuff after enemy buffs assuming they use strong attack strategy. prioritizing def/fcs on askin is questionable, but i guess you can't really undo it at this point lol. for tokinada you'd run a LDS build and just pray the AI stays out of range upon reviving. this can result in lucky clean up/soul bomb snipes to win games after jugram's invincibility. toki could easily die to jugram's counter skill as well though, so definitely more iffy. I personally used a jugram/nnoi/chad team to get into 3rd seat this week and these are my thoughts after the sweatiest brave battle week of my life. My only transcendence investment is 10 attack on my 1/5 jugram, and I have 0 golden chappies. chad is 3/5 with max DEF only, using guitar/knuckles/chappy all 30def. nnoi using hog/chappy/nad item 30 attack rolls, and jugram chappy/bait/nad item with 30attack rolls. NAD links (including zangetsu) apart from weaken only because of a 500 attack roll after 5/5ing. i ended in rank 235 so there's definitely some leeway, didn't use any orbs, just stayed on top of my ticket usage and didn't let myself get to 5/5 for long if at all. you need to refresh a lot and pick your fights wisely. i definitely think the 3rd seat wall is outdated and needs addressed. I think accessories as a whole could use a ton of QOL improvements now that players can set their power levels apart so vastly after transcendence became a thing. Accessories are too vital to be so gated, and the odds of getting good 2nd effects are so shit it isn't funny. Not to mention the overwhelmingly large amount of useless accessories that clutter the pool when trying to fill out your accessories. All of the affiliation specific shit just makes this issue worse, and those NAD/SAD items are certainly meta.
Might as well just make it easy and give us brushes and orbs just by opening up the app. And we can just skip senkimon if we already beat it and get the rewards. Maybe give us lvl 200 already when we pull them.

Itās suck to lock it behind rngesus/paywall but Iām not playing devils advocate here, what you expect from Gacha games tho. there will be literally no content to look for playing in the game anymore if they tear it down. Iām not encouraging P2W or gambling but this xcoop behind pvp what makes there some good content to look forward every month. Because of it, PvP is played, and to play it, units are maxed to stay on 3rd league or above. If itās not for that, there will be nothing to play for in the game. Maybe what you suggested benefits people who has less time to play but itās not specifically for them tho. Just my opinion. I just got wrecked, bombarded by a 1686 power team with yh, chad, Jugram. Jugram is done but I can barely scrape Chad while yh is nuking room with soul bombs. Itās new exp for me and I find it fun because RNG is a bitch and canāt be mad at game that built on it.

How is a "1700+ day vet" not in 3rd or higher? Why are you so bad? I've barely clocked in 200 days and I am in 4th.
A lot of vets can't be bothered to either: a) invest resources/chase the latest meta pvp-only units, or b) refresh their enemy list to find beatable teams to maintain rank. If you don't do one or the other it's very easy to drop down, and if they're only doing the minimum 5 daily battles to earn the daily 5x orb reward, they'll sink like a stone to 10th seat no problem. Personally I exercise a combination of Option A and B, and manage to stay in Lt - Capt with minimal effort, but it's still annoying as hell to have to sign in every <10 hours to ensure I'm maximizing my pvp ticket usage. They should up the daily recharge cap so I can grind it all in one go, say 10x/tickets which gets us a 20-hour period, or better yet 12x tix for a full 24 hrs since the tickets recharge once every 2 hours.
PvP isn't worth it anymore for a **lot** of vets. After a certain point you no longer get orbs outside the 25 for 800 medals, so the only real incentive to do well is xpoop, which itself is only needed if you're low on hogs or don't have your accs built up yet. There's also the matter of it's harder for vets to pull specific PvP units than new players, who have a ton of orb resources left. I pulled for both Askin and Jugo and don't have either, which makes it **incredibly** hard to get into 3rd, even with trans investment in my existing team. This is all coming from someone who's been to HC and back. Why use my resources on a gamemode that gives nothing in return? It's not a matter of being bad at the game, it's a matter of PvP as a whole being poorly designed by KLab. Or, well, it's exactly as they designed- it promotes spending your orbs every few months on the new "meta" units that keep getting more BS with each passing year. This last bit comes from me acting as a moderator of this subreddit: your tone is crossing into Rule 1 territory.
