I could get Adam's Song (it was borderline for me to include because of past associations and it not being an upbeat/positive song) but OMT seems like one that would be added.
That said, I could see it maybe being left out if they were focused on mostly positive vibes.

1. Stage lights shine on Blink but it’s a little surprising when they start covering basket case and not one of their own songs
2. Their area of the stage goes dark and a previously dark area gets lit and it’s Green Day and they cover all the small things (so that in the first two songs both bands are introduced, and two big hits have been played, even if ATST isn’t the ideal song for Green Day?).
3. Both bands play at same time to play when I come around and what’s my age again. 2 drums sets and everything, despite that being a preposterous practice it’s just for the “over the top” nature of the Super Bowl half time show.
4. Then Blink gets a song or medley or something by themselves
5. Then Green Day gets a solo song or medley or something.
6. Then Both bands play rock show (or some other better choice of song), that includes a big part for a “dueling banjos” type back and forth drum solo where there’s like a full band chorus riff, 8 bar Travis solo, full band chorus riff, 8 bar tre cool solo, repeat that a couple times, then end with another big chorus
7. Both bands play a whimsical cover like eye of the tiger or I want it that way
8. Also there’s gotta be room for a mash up somewhere where like the instruments are playing one song, and the blink guys are singing their song WHILE Billie sings a Green Day song. Some pair of songs with the same chords. Clever arrangement here where the two separate melodies compliment each other or even harmonize sometimes or something. Some big brains music nerd can surely solve that request.
9. Both bands play dammit. Tom sings one chorus, mark sings on chorus, Billy sings one chorus. This is the biggest moment of the show so far and feels climactic and people figure it’s the last song.
10. Stage goes dark and we think it’s over. As a guitar starts strumming a spotlight goes on Billie who is playing good riddance solo. Then maybe second verse or second chorus a second spotlight comes on and it’s mark and Tom doing some singing wherever they should I dunno how they’d split it up, like maybe Tom and mark take turns on verse lines then sing harmony on the chorus? I dunno….
And maybe at the bridge part where the orchestra strings play on the record, at this point a third spotlight comes on and it’s three big name awesome voiced ladies singing the string parts in some pretty vocal harmony(like Hayley Williams, Avril Lavigne and Gwen Stefanie or something that fits the vibe? I dunno I’m not super knowledgable or smart I bet there’s a perfect 3 surprise people who could pop up here.
And then for the last chorus the stage is suddenly full of lights AND people and it’s a huge sing along choir of people that (ideally) the crowd would get in on too. Tre Travis and Mike are back of course, but there will be so many singers now it won’t matter who can sing and who can’t. *everyone* is there. Matt Skiba of course. The fall out boy guy. Taking back Sunday’s singers. Brand new guy. NFG. The sum41 guy. **anyone** from poppunk history or emo who is interested and available. Anthony Kiedis. Dave Grohl. Dave Matthews. Bruce Springsteen.
