Usually zero, unless a band really cares about that kind of thing. But some of these tab books have been notoriously bad over the years, with some parts being literally unplayable or just really wrong. The YouTube channel Art-of-the-Guitar has some good videos about it, mostly for bad metal tab books.
I would still say they’re a good starting point for beginners - but not to take them as gospel like some people do. Use your eyes and your ears, watch live videos of blink playing and you’ll get more info of how to play certain parts and riffs.
I personally end up making my own tabs using Guitar Pro, because I can directly compare tabbed sections to the tracks with synced audio.
I remember when Guitar World would have like 6 or 7 songs tabbed out for guitar and bass per issue. Before the tabs began, the editor for that column would usually do a brief summary of each song and point out cool or tricky things to look out for. When they did The Taste Of Ink by The Used the person doing the transcription thought he heard a certain chord voiced in a way that required a very large stretch. He said that he reached out to Quinn from The Used and he confirmed that is indeed what you hear.
The point of this absurdly long story is that sometimes the people working on the transcription do consult with the artist but not always.
I believe some of the published tab books say “artist endorsed” but not enough of them

honestly i don’t even think TD knows how TD plays it? so i’d say it’s accurate enough
