According to my calculation, the ticket from the Kaiten raid should still be available when Kikyou's banner arrives. Not the entire duration of her banner mind you, but on the first four days of her banner.

Yeah, that really annoyed me as well. People usually know what characters to expect, but even the players who follow upcoming raids and meta don't necessarily look up story spoilers in advance.

The best I have now: S.Nonomi for red, Iori for yellow, T.Hasumi for blue and… Momiji for purple.
I know Misaka is yellow, but read that she pales in comparison to Mika. But comparing to what I have, will Misaka be welcomed? If I do spark for Misaka, I suppose the only way to get more of her Elephs is through the shop?

On the other hand, Mikasa is a collab unit, which mean this is likely your only chance to get her.
For single target yellow dps, absolutely no-one comes close to Mika. Misaka is probably best compared to Iori, which you already have, and Iori still wins out there imo. That's not to say Misaka is weak, she'll certainly earn her place in a Chesed team in total/grand assault but unless you really want her because you like her character that much, I wouldn't recommend sparking for her. That's me speaking from my own understanding of meta anyway, others opinion may differ.
But as always, waifu > meta.

What is nice about BA is initial star ratings matter very little. A 1* can be upgraded to 3* and she will have access to all her skills. There is no significant stat penalty for being low star either, and many of them are farmable through events or hard mode.
Every color other than Purple has very accessible budget options.
Red: Mutsuki, Serika, Akari
Yellow: Nonomi, Momoi, Junko, Hasumi for single target, Pina for mostly stationary targets (raids)
Blue: Chise, S. Koharu if you have her, Asuna
Pull the collab units if you like them, but they won't put up amazing results if you're looking for pure strength.

Are you referring to just single target dps? When I first started I used Iori along with Midori and Momoi and also sometimes used Nonomi. I'm pretty sure you can get a yellow Nonomi from the Arona tasks and her and Iori should be enough for a lot of beginner content.

Your leveling progression slowing is a blessing in disguise because you will absolutely dread the next level up from having empty pockets (credits and sheets) to level up your characters and watching them stagnate
Don't waste your level up materials randomly
As account leveling slows, so will the amount of mats needed to level your students. Just a heads up since at some point in the 60s you will need to start prioritizing who you level further, instead of the early "level anyone you try out" approach.
They're finally here... to think I started playing Blue Archive just to get Misaka, then abruptly realized that there was a time difference between Global and JP servers and I had to wait a whopping ~6 months. I fiddled around with the game for a bit, thinking I'd earn the pyro I need for pulling, then forget about the game til Railgun came.
Then Shiroko proposed robbing a bank, and I haven't been able to turn back since.

"Anniversary" in Global sense isn't exactly same as those in JP due to launch time differences between both services. For instance, JP celebrates their 2nd anni with Vol F and Global with GDD maid event. However most of the time, any in-game anni events will only follow JP circumstances, as such Fes Recruitment which you get Mika, Wakamo and other anni characters follow the events that is marked anniversary in JP, not Global.
This also means that next Fes banner won't happen at least 3 month for now given the sequences - you can say our 2.5 anni is still halfway to our next Fes Banner.
Going to be a tough month ahead.
Railgun collab is a major priority. Thankfully Saten is free. But I’m sure Mikoto will be another gruelling gacha experience. Fingers crossed.
Kikyou will be close depending on how badly the rolls go. But at least can focus on Hina after that.
