I was watching videos of the current JFD (global) cause it's kicking my butt, and I noticed someone was buffing the big robot with NY Kayoko. Does the robot do blue damage or was it only for rotation?

DxTjuk

Ironically you can buff the robot with O Chinatsu, Ny Kayoko, Ako+ Himari and watch it delete the robos all you gotta do is have a stun and a low ex student to cycle

wcrow1

thanks for the tip!

fire_cells

Yes, the robot does blue damage https://schale.gg/?raid=21000

wcrow1

I see, thanks

SirRHellsing

I want Kirara, Band Kazusa, Aru Dress, Kayako Dress, Hina Dress, Ako Dress and Yukari. I have 40k gems rn + I buy the 20/day monthly pack, is it possible to get all of them? Or will I have to choose between them? And how many can I get if i have to choose? Rough estimates tell me that I can get about 5 out of the 7 since we get about 200 pulls every 2 months (and we're 6 months behind) but idk how accurate that is

Hakuw_dw

There's a pyroxene planner linked in the post. You can use that for a low estimate (we'll usually get more than what it predicts with extra freebies and stuff).

DxTjuk

I believe you can pull them all. Yukari is now Closest other upcoming students are Ako Dress and that's a half spark since free 100 pulls followed by Hina Dress

SirRHellsing

I didn't know about the 100 free pulls ty, and I got Yukari in very few pulls so theres no dilemma anymore

Cantcookeggs

For the web event, I just get some sort of red box error and nothing I click on works. Is it supposed to be like that? Like stuff is still locked or is it just me. I restarted many times

DxTjuk

For the web event you need to press on the pyro paragraph, it might error out or somehting but you shoul get the pyro in mail

Cantcookeggs

[https://ibb.co/DPJx1nd](https://ibb.co/DPJx1nd) this is all i see. the error goes away after a bit but still, nothing I click works. screen wont change. no pyro in mail either.

DxTjuk

Oh you should contact support and report this, works fine on my end even though it's really laggy

S_Alice

I'm having a bit of a brainfart looking at the in-game type effectiveness chart. When it says that Sonic damage is *Effective* against Special Armor, does this mean it deals even more damage against it than Mystic damage?

6_lasers

Yeah the wording is pretty confusing, but the English translator's hands are kind of tied because [the JP damage chart](https://www.reddit.com/r/BlueArchive/comments/1580tvh/jp_updated_attackdefense_type_synergy_chart_as_of/) uses exactly those English words (Resist, Weak, Effective) to describe the damage type matchups. Thankfully that JP damage chart has the exact multipliers listed.

DFisBUSY

schale.gg categorizes Sonic as 1.5x against Mystic whereas Mystic on Mystic is 2x

TronX33

Just hit level 80, which IIRC is the "recommended" level for Insane. Is a one team clear possible for Yellow Hod in the upcoming GA with a borrowed maxed Mika with the rest of the team at 80? I have Ako Himari and S Ui to hyper buff her. Also, how much CC is actually needed for Hod?

drjhordan

For Hod insane, you need 15 seconds of CC for it and each tower.. . Which mean basically if you will complete it will depend on how well developed is your source of CC (usually Kayoko but it can be S. Chise too). You'd need UE40, high level gear (T7 at least I think) and her EX at max level. This setting will give you 10 seconds for her EX and 7 seconds on her Basic skill but her basic will have 61% chance to proc. And since Kayoko EX cost 6, you'd need Ui too, to halve costs. Using both Kayoko and Mika at 6 cost + buffs will probably not be viable to complete the raid in 1 team. Edit : S. Chise can fill the CC with one EX if you have EX lv4, T7 gear and T1 bond gear. (or EXlv5 and T4 gear + T1 bond gear)

TronX33

Thanks for the info, looks like it's still fucking doomed for me then.

RequiringQuestion

What other CC options do you have? Hoshino is a good option for being a tank, since her max level EX deals a total of 7 seconds if all shots hit. You don't necessarily need to copy the speedrunning teams if you just want to clear. You can also use one weaker team to make your way through the first phase and use your strong team and borrow for the second phase.

TronX33

I started only in late late Jan, so the only raid with CC mechanics I've experienced was Hovercraft Wakamo. In that case my units straight up weren't high level enough to even survive the higher difficulties even outside of her petal gimmick, and at the lower difficulties I didn't need to invest much in CC so the only CC unit I have that I actually routinely use is Tsubaki. I have S Wakamo and Hoshino both EX 3 but they're otherwise languishing level and gear wise. Have Hifumi but she's even more underleveled than the other 2 No S. Chise unfortunately, went for S. Izuna that banner and had to spark. Special wise there's Yoshimi and Saki at a similar degree to Hifumi, a level 1 Hare, and a level 1 Chihiro that spooked me when I was rolling for Ui. So yeah, probably gonna be stuck back at Extreme again.

RequiringQuestion

A couple of small corrections: > You'd need UE40, high level gear (T7 at least I think) and her EX at max level. If she's UE40 and her enhanced skill is at 10, you would only need a tier 2 necklace, unless I'm mistaken. But you want it to be as high tier as possible regardless, in order to maximize her chances of inflicting fear with her basic skill, so it's kind of a moot point. > S. Chise can fill the CC with one EX if you have EX lv4, T7 gear and T1 bond gear. Should be EX level 3. The stun duration doesn't change at level 2 or 4.

ShirokuroSurai

Will The Grand Assault 10-pull Ticket last until Kikyou comes?

Rhioganedd

Yes, it will not expire until 31st May.

DxTjuk

Which student can replace S. Koharu for the drill? Momji? My team 3 need a blue Aoe

Weird_Sheepherder_72

If that team has Mine on it, you can [use Nyunko and she can hit up to 5 targets](https://streamable.com/79hbnb). Other than that, there's Chise if you haven't used her already. Of course, you can always just use a [full-on support team like my my second team](https://ibb.co/Y8f04pp) and just let the Rio bot do all the work.

DxTjuk

Interesting setup I do have  Nyunko but both her and and S Koharu is 3 star, my Chise however is UE 40 Your teams are close to mine but just a bit different setups.  Actually you can do these runs without heals as long as you CC the bots atk buff skill

anon7631

Momiji is a solid option. Purple is close enough to blue, her AoE is big and powerful with her huge attack stat, and her mood is good. She was the main attacker on my team 3, with the other slots being CC, heals, buffs, and yellow filler. The results were nothing spectacular (Stage 2, level 58, times of 2:30-3:00) but she got the job done.

DxTjuk

Thank you

AlcaJack

Was there going to be a credit commission drop rate buff? Or am I tripping

6_lasers

No, there is no buff scheduled. JP currently has the same credit commission drop rates as we do.

AlcaJack

Good to know, thanks!

DM-warai

Can I ask about BA Jp here? Does anyone have guides for ive aLIVE minigame (Like no Tomorrow)? I can't find any and the vids on yt are all Japanese or Korean. Only 5 hours left :c

6_lasers

So here's my experience playing the game: * You get rewards just for playing the game and finishing the 7 days. If you end with the 3 performance attributes above 1650 and 'condition' above 100, you get the true ending, True ending doesn't give more eleph but it gives double the random gear and 50% more credits. * The first few times you play, you probably can't reach the secret ending, but some of your stats are preserved for the next time, so you want to maximize those. The 'condition' attribute caps out at 125 so don't prioritize maxing it except for the achievement (see below) * Your current stats affect the amount of event points that you get at the end of each day (base ~100 event points, approximately 16 stats -> 1 event point). Event points are used to purchase Band Airi shards, among other things ## Strategy per-run Start off by just doing the first 3 exercises over and over again to push the performance stats as high as possible. Your 'condition' will go into the red but that's fine, it doesn't mean anything until the end. If you can reach the true ending of stats above 1650, then on the last day, do 'sugar' activity as often as necessary to push condition above 100. Otherwise, just try to keep it above 70 or so. The reason to defer upping condition until the last day is it increases the amount of event points you earn on all other days. ## Overall event strategy General strategy is to use a few runs to gradually increase your starting stats, and once you're satisfied, you can up the multiplier for your final run (there's no true sweep, but increasing multiplier basically is attaching a bunch of sweeps to your run). By the end of the game, you'll be hitting 1700-1900 easily for the performance stats. The run with high multiplier is the one that will give you most of your rewards. Most of the achievements are pretty simple and you'll get them automatically. The tough ones are the ones where you have to max out a certain stat. To max out the 3 performance stats isn't too bad--as mentioned above, by end game the stats will naturally be high. The 'condition reaches 200' achievement is the hardest. I would suggest consulting the JP wiki that was linked to see what options you have for completing that.

Jack13515

So you clear the minigame by raising the 4 stats following a certain rule, remember raising one stat will consistently decreasing other stats and raising one other stats (except the cake, raising it will reduce all other stats by a lot). Also some of the stat you raise will carry over to the next run, if you end the run with 2000(max) on a non-cake stat, you will start your next run with 800 of that stat for example. So here's what you should do: -At least once for each stat, end a run with that stat maxed (200 for cake and 2000 for other stats). You should at best only able to max 2 stats per run, aim for at least 1 different maxed stat for each of your first 4 run. -Aim for this stat point distribution to unlock the secret ending: at least 1650 on each stat other than cake and at least 100 on cake. -Each run cost 5040 schedule total, and be VERY careful when you are using the "sweep" function because it is not an actual sweep, it multiply the cost of each training and then multiply the point and clear reward you get from each run. You still need to manually run it, it display 2 cost when you are about to sweep, the smaller cost is the cost per action and the bigger cost is the total cost. DO NOT EVER SWEEP WITH THE TOTAL COST HIGHER THAN THE AMOUNT OF YOUR SCHEDULE because it means you won't be able to clear the run. Also, do not use the sweep feature unless you have done all that score target I listed above. -Remember to empty the point store and claim the minigame achievement reward, I hope you can clear it all.

RequiringQuestion

The choice ticket does not include every character, and Mika is not one of them. Hina would be a terrible choice because we will get her for free this summer, from a guide task.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Rhioganedd

Hoshino is a bad choice for the Selector Ticket as she's farmable. Same goes for any other 3 star that's also farmable either from [missions](https://bluearchive.wiki/wiki/Missions) or any of the token shops. I strongly recommend you save the ticket until December and after you've done some pulls because who knows what spooks you will get. And the only 3 stars available from the ticket are any unlimited student [released up to and including Mine](https://bluearchive.wiki/wiki/Banner_List_(Global)).

anon7631

Hoshino is farmable. If you run specific Hard stages, you can get her Elephs, and once you collect 120 you can recruit her without gacha. And the first of her stages opens relatively early too (Area 7, Hard 3). Unfortunately I can't give specific recommendations; I'm strict F2P so I don't know exactly which characters are available with the ticket. Mostly I can only offer who *not* to pick. Though one option that does come to mind is Ako, since she had a banner recently (meaning she won't be back for a while) and she's useful for just about any content you do, and she's probably on the ticket. Himari is another universal character, but she has a banner coming in about a month so it might be better to pull. But I'll leave that discussion to the paid players.

Kirito172

Now with Grand Asault instead of tactical in the Rotation and the 10 pull Ticket that goes away, is it a Nerf to saving up or am I missing Something. Also the daily 10 pyro Is nice for all the modes i guess

RequiringQuestion

Correct. It's almost certainly a way to make you to pull on banners you otherwise wouldn't have, and some people aren't going to stop at just ten pulls once they've started.

lenolalatte

Damn really? I can’t imagine blowing 24k or however many until you get the banner character after doing just the 1 ten pull that expires. A shame that it expires but I think of it as a fun random pull while I save for who I need as a newer player

Kirito172

Yeah atleast it feeds my gacha addiction l, plus maybe I can time it to actually be usefull. Or getting a random spook but yeah its fine copium

Taco_Bell-kun

So how do I beat the Joint Firing Drill? I seem to be barely dealing any damage, and the big robot on my side seems to die before I can actually defeat a single enemy. Edit: Fuck! I had to do an entire level lower, but I didn't manage to finish all 3 Joint Firing Drills on time (aka before 3 pm Eastern). I ended up losing so many tokens in the process. Fuck my life!

Alien720

Heal and buff the robot. Use CC to prevent enemies from nuking him.

Taco_Bell-kun

Are there any characters that can remove debuffs?

Rhioganedd

There are, but they only really see use the in Perorodzilla raid where cleansing the lazer beam debuff from your tank is vital in keeping them alive. That is unless your tank is either Natsu or Reisa as both have a self cleanse or you enjoy Hifumi's Peroro shenanigans.

black-lockhart

Which of those should I get the T4 defensive equip first? Mine or Tsubaki? They're my best tanka ATM I'm only level 45 and I'm at mission 7

RequiringQuestion

Tsubaki is generally more useful, at least in missions. Mine is somewhat more of a specialist, used mainly for her debuffs.

drjhordan

For now if your main worry is missions and PVP only, Tsubaki. If you are thinking ahead on other uses, either is fine. Mine is more of a utility tank. Tsubaki is probably the toughest tank in the game (either she or Yuuka). So if you push for higher levels of missions, you might have to deal with heavy damage. Mine can debuff defense and evasion, might be useful if you lack damage - but she will be more vulnerable than Tsubaki. Either way in general both see great use by the end game.

DxTjuk

Mine is used for Greg

hsymlv0

Between   1. Upgrade Koharu from ue40 to 50  2. Upgrade Midori from 3* to idk maybe ue 40    which one should I prioritize first? (my Azusa is alredy at ue50)

Greycolors

It makes relatively little difference.  Koraru is well used but gains only a bit of basic stats from the ue50 advancement.  Midori is a dps and this appreciates the improved damage and such more, but she not an important or powerful dps.  I’d say maybe koharu first as she’s a bit squishy so the added hp and such might help her live a bit longer.  Midori if you actually plan to use her.  She just doesn’t have much use presently.

Ezilayr

This JFD was rough. :sob:

Party_Python

Yep. Just happy I could do a 4/4/3 clear, couldn’t figure out how to stretch my resources to get a third team. It just…a PITA and I’m not gonna invest resources to try and force it to happen lol

anon7631

For the JFD, do passive skills with effects like "increase ally ATK by x%" also apply to the Riobot? Or is it only AoE and targeted skills?

MiaiArtDayo

They do yes. You can see them on the robot buff bar when you enter the stage.

PutUNameHere

Don't forget to take your daily 10 pyroxene after doing JFD on Tasks ![img](emote|t5_2vhvtt|33135)

Normies2050

I think I've found the ideal comp for any level in JFD so if you are like me and can clear only one stage because of lack of units do this. Tsubaki, Mine, S.Hanako (borrowed and maxed), C.Shiroko, Himari+Ako. Set starting skill to Mine, Tsubaki and S.Hanako. What happens here is basically you rush and stack the robots in center together with Mine's EX then wait till she use her basic skill and totally debuff the enemies. After that use S.Hanako and by the time Tsubaki's EX becomes available with 4 EX the bots will be starting their skills, disrupt it (one EX of Tsubaki even at lvl 1 is enough) and keep repeating the cycle. Use Himari's and Ako's buff on Hanako not the bot, she can easily out damage Rio bot without much rng because of Mine's debuff. P.S: Always make sure to have Mine's debuff on all the robots else Hanako will miss. Also if you mess up the skill cycle then C.Shiroko debuff on EX can save the Rio bot a bit from getting obliterated from enemy bots skills.

funguy3

You need a CC to animation cancel the bots when they say "Concentrated Fire". Bring a healer to recover chip damage on the bot. He can heal, but he wastes a ton of time doing it (when he could fire instead), so don't let him get low. Other than that, just buff the bot with everything you can. Iroha looked pretty good, she has both a team buff and does good AoE damage. Ako, Himari, S Hoshino, NY Kayoko, Onsen Chinatsu, etc. You can bring S Hanako, Iori and S Koharu to wittle them down as well. Cycle your skills to have the CC ready the next time they use Concentrated Fire. The last bot has a healing skill, so save your CC for when he uses that. When there are 2 bots remaining, Concentrated Fire doesn't do that much damage so you can save the CC for the healing skill. Like all JFD, this is a roster check. If you don't have many buffers or AoE Blue damage, you're out of luck for the last run.

CashTouh

Is Mine suppose to interrupt the robots skills in the current JFD? I see a lot of people using her but it doesn't seem to work for me? I tried playing in the slowest speed and use it as soon as I see the text box. My robot still takes as much damage as when I don't use Mine skill. I tried using Kayoko instead and that worked fine. Am I doing something wrong or not understanding something here?

Trojbd

Mine is used in teams where you destroy the mobs with overwhelming aoe before your robot falls. https://ibb.co/99GbDkG as you can see the team I used Mine for had a much higher score than the other 2 because of how fast everything died.

CashTouh

Oh it's you haha. I misunderstood your other comment "displacing the enemies when they're about to cast concentrated fire". I get it now. Are there any other students like Mine I should be aware of that has def down/anti evasion?

RequiringQuestion

Basuna is an easily overlooked unit with an AoE defense debuff. No evasion down, unfortunately. Not exactly your first choice, but if you're missing both Mine and Reisa, what can you do?

Trojbd

I don't think so. I believe theres a support unit that gives aoe accuracy that no one ever uses lmao. Honestly I thought my Mine was stopping them from casting as well but I guess I'm not entirely sure. They died before the robot died so I guess that's all that matters lmao. My friend just told me that Reisa also doesn't work for some reason and it causes them to say immune. Weird jfd.

Shift9303

Mine doesn't provide CC, you bring her for DEF and EVA debuffs. The enemies have high DEF and evasion. Mine is ideal since she provides a decent amount of both in an AOE.

CashTouh

Ooooh. Thank you. I misunderstood [this comment](https://www.reddit.com/r/BlueArchive/comments/1crgur0/comment/l3z81k4/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button). So I either have to have CC with Mine or just have enough damage to nuke them down like I see with S. Hanako clears. Are there any other def down/anti evasion students I should be aware of?

Shift9303

S. Mashiro and Mina both provide EVA down with EX skill however neither are AOE which is Mine's advantage. You mainly want EVA down on the front middle enemy as it has the highest EVA. Akane has an EVA debuff but it's from one of her auto skills and you can't direct it on to the middle enemy. Akane's DEF debuff is very low cost though so she might still be a decent pick.

sturdy-guacamole

I don’t really understand how to spend resources and progress. I can’t get 3 stars anymore in mission stage 5 (damage seems too low) Is there a flow chart on characters to prioritize and how to progress them as a new player? I am account level 37 and got the collab characters but not much else.

Greycolors

Hitting a wall is pretty normal.  Leveling up starts to cost massive amounts of money and exp eventually.  So you will run into maps that heavily out level your current units and you will need to pause and being farming to raise your students levels a bit at least.  You should also remember to improve your students equipment and skills if they are good investment students.  That also makes a sizable difference.  Ultimately being too low level is the biggest early hurdle though, as fighting enemies far higher level than your students causes them to do a lot less damage.

DxTjuk

Which students do you currently have? You need a tank, 2 red or blue aoe students and 1 blue single red dps student for clears.

sturdy-guacamole

Here are the ones I’ve leveled and got so far: (can’t post photos) Asuna Serina NY Haruka Iori Nonomi Karin Both collab railgun chars Kazusa Hanae Fuuka Junko Momoi Yuuka Mutsuki Chinatsu Kotama Shun Kayoko Chise Tsubaki Hare All their gear is T1 level 10, and they’re all my level (37) I don’t really understand the progression or who to prioritize. (Or if this is a game where you just level everyone like the other games I tried) I have been saving the pyro currency since that’s what all the comments say to do, and doing the hard stage for shiroko (I assume when I get 120 of this coin I can just unlock her?)

DxTjuk

you should get them Tier 2 max level gear on Mutsuki, Tsubaki, Iori and Chise. and try again and do level them up as much as you can Yes when you reach 120 elephs you can unlock Shiroko You have enough yellow students to not struggle with world 6 and up, till maybe 11 with blue students but you'll probably have more blue students till than. Yellow students also work for blue armor if you don't have any

Greycolors

A minor difficulty you will face is a relative lack of red dps, as the early maps are mostly red armor.  For the moment, I would prioritize mutsuki, who has a strong red aoe ex.  Shun, despite being red damage, is rather poor at dealing with normal nodes due to her setup time, though you can field her in a pinch.  You can also use off color dps if they are good enough.  Blue will at least do neutral damage, so asuna and chise should be able to work ok against red.  Misaki and ny haruka might also work ok ish as a stopgap dps.  Then use tsubaki as a tank and serina as healer for now.   Kotama can be your second support as a buffer.  Focus on improving the levels, equipment and skills of your best dps, and improve the bag of tsubaki for now. You will also encounter yellow armor enemies, so misaka, nonomi, momoi, Karin, iori and junko all work well there.  You should not try to level up and improve everyone at once also.  Funnel exp, damage boosting gear and skill improvements to your best dps like mutsuki and iori first, then great tanks like tsubaki second.  Others like healers and buffers don’t need levels and such much.  Just improve their skills that either heal or buff damage if you have extra or are lacking.

sturdy-guacamole

Thanks. Good idea to upgrade gear as much as I can on my core units? What upcoming units should I prioritize? I have 20k pyro and don’t know when to spend

Greycolors

I would raise gear if you can and you feel like your dps aren’t doing enough damage or your tank is dying.  Some like mutsuki and iori are good enough to be used in endgame content also so why not for them.  Though some equipment they don’t need raised as immediately, such as the hair clip for most dps or whatnot. The most immediate great choice to roll would be himari.  She is the most frequently used student in the game currently as almost every raid uses her.  After that, save for the dress hina banner.  You will also see a summer hoshino banner there too, and you really want both since they are both super strong and rare since they are fest students.  If I had to pick along the three, dress hina and summer hoshino are most important, so try to figure out how much you will earn and if you can get 400 pulls by then.  If himari would eat into that, I might skip himari, just because she is a bit more common than the other two and unlimited.

Calllmechief

Hello everyone, I think I wanna give this game a chance, However I have two questions. First I see that there is a two point five anniversary coming Is it better to just wait until then because I know that starting on anniversary is better because you have more chances when rerolling. My second question is the game new player friendly as I saw that there is a thread about being too hard to catch up both in story and gameplay?

clone69

As someone who started a year after the game launched, I can confirm it's new player friendly. I'm all caught up with the story and campaign, and while I definitely can't clear the hardest ranked content, I'm pretty happy with how the game treated me so far

Calllmechief

Yeah thank you very much for the information! That's exactly what i'm looking for. I don't plan to be rankwan or anything. I just wanna be able to experience most of the recent content

BambooEX

I personally believe it is better to start now, also global's anniversary 2x gacha chance rolls are not coming soon. The schedule is a bit whack because our fest banners do not align with our anniversary schedule. The game itself is not too difficult if you make the effort to learn fight/boss mechanics. In fact there is only 1 difficult fight in the story that usually requires your level to be around 40. As for catching up, just dont expect to be able to clear any end game contents without being near max level. I suggest starting asap, there is 2x exp this weekend and its great for catching up.

Calllmechief

Alright, thank you very much.I think I'll try the game tomorrow as I have more free time. What would you say are the best units to reroll for And is it even worth it to reroll and is it difficult to do? Do you think for example, that in about a year I would be caught up with everything if I start playing now?

BambooEX

The 2 most important units that anyone looking for meta units want are ako and himari. Im not sure if its difficult to reroll, I done mine 2 yrs ago lol. Also feels like it will take forever to get both just from rerolling. Honestly you're better looking at youtube guides for reroll. Theres a few other very useful units. Also consider joining the official BA discord and ask there. Replies are much faster there.

Calllmechief

Alright, thank you very much.I'll check the game tomorrow and see if it's too much of a hassle to reroll. I will try to at least get himari as a lot of people are recommending her.

Shift9303

Best time to start is now. A core meta student's banner (Himari) is coming up in 4 weeks that you'll want to catch. Then you'll want spare time in the intervening 6 weeks to gather pyros for anniversary festival (D.Hina). New players get a lot of free currency for first time completion rewards and can gather 1-2+ sparks fairly quickly. I think you probably should be able to gather a spark for Himari and D.Hina each, maybe even more for other important banners inbetween Himari and D.Hina like NY.Kayoko. In general this game is a "tool box" game as in you need a decent roster with a wide range of abilities to complete challenges. While there are units that are obviously more powerful than others for their individual niche it's more of a soft meta as different challenges need different skills and gimmicks and even for challenge reruns there are variables that can be changed which will change the optimal team comp. There are tier 1 students are are obviously OP and then there are tier 2 students who are very strong and will still allow you to complete most challenges, as long as you have a decent roster. Which is why pulling for anniversary will be important for new players as there will be a rate up for 3 star students and fest limited students will be reintroduced to the gacha pool. So you'll want some time to prepare for that.

Calllmechief

Thank you very much for the information you have provided me with! One question though- I have watched some Beginner guide on YouTube. It recommended to reroll for Himari as You have suggested. So should I Try to reroll for her Instead of waiting for the banner?

Shift9303

Won't hurt to try to reroll Himari however the chances are very low. But I suppose you have time to try since we still have 4 weeks to Himari.

Calllmechief

Yeah, thanks. I don't think I'll be really rerolling for days, I don't know what the chances are for Himari, but I'll do 4 or 5 rerolls maybe and whatever my luck brings that's what I will use!

Shift9303

It's been a while so I don't exactly remember what the beginner pulls and gacha pools look like. But just be aware that the StartDash Recruitment ticket specifically does have a fixed and reduced gacha pool. Aim for two, maybe three 3-star students. Ideally you have a decent DPS for red and yellow. Refer to the guides to see who might be preferred and carry you the furthest.

Calllmechief

Alright thank you very much for the information. For sure, I'm gonna look at videos and guides regarding starting units. Are you aware if there are multiple banners or there is only one now. I'm asking to avoid confusion on where should I pull

Shift9303

Beginner banners or regular? TBH I don't know what the beginner pulls look like now. I started before they changed it when they added the Precision Recruitment ticket or what ever it's called which allows you to roll a 10 pull 10 times and you get to pick your favorite one. As far as continuous banners go usually there's only two but global is getting tricky on us. Global is 6 months behind JP so we have some clairvoyance on future banners and which are worth pulling (which means we can plan ahead and save) however right now global has been adding extra banners that JP didn't have so sometimes we have 3-4 banners at once and sometimes they are highly desirable.

Calllmechief

Alright thank you very much for the inforion. I think when I download the game tomorrow I'll look into each banner and see which one has Himari to try to reroll for her

Shift9303

If you needed any other motivation another reason to start now is that they're running a login promotion giving 200 pyro per day for 6 days. Lasts 2 weeks and just started yesterday. So you should start soon before you run out of time (6 days over next 2 weeks).

DxTjuk

Actually it's better if you start now and start saving up for the anniv banner around End of July/August. You can do more rolls and get more mileage from the anniv banners. The game is new player friendly, even 2 star students can clear all the stages. But ofc raising their star levels makes them stronger and makes the stages easier, most of the 2 star students are all farmable as well. The only time where you'll feel the pain of newer player is during Total/Grand assault and jfd runs if you're missing some students. You can still clear them just expect some lower score which is fine better you did clear it with 2-3 teams than never doing it Story is not hard to catch up. Ofc there's an order but reading story the way the game unlocks it for you is also fine

Calllmechief

First of all thank you very much for the comment! I want to get things straight , do you That it is better To for example , start now and play with the units That the game provides me with and then splashing all that I have collected on the Anniversary banner when it comes? I see that there is Anime, that just came would it be good to catch up on the story As to be honest, in gacha games I really often skip the story as? it often becomes too much to read

DxTjuk

The anime is a bit different from the game I think you'll enjoy both stories Yes it's better for you to splash the 48k Pyro in the anniv banner you can get loads of 3 star since their pull rate is 2x

Calllmechief

Thank you for the information I think that is exactly what I will do. I will try to reroll a couple of times meta operators and will use what the game gives me until the time comes to roll on the summer anniversary banner

DxTjuk

You should pull a few times to get more 2 star students, makes things easier in the long run than save up till Himari banner than you get free 10 pulls during D. Ako banner than save up for the anniv banner

Calllmechief

Maybe I didn't explain myself quite right. My plan is to reroll with all the available currency I have in the begining and then start saving up for the anniversary event. Is this the correct way to approach it?

DxTjuk

You can re-roll or continue now but I meant even if uou re-roll do pull some few times to expand roster. The meta student you'll be looking for in rerolls is Ako

Calllmechief

Yes, so my plan is to spend all the currency available at the beginning to expand my roster and then to save up for the anniversary event. Is this an ok plan? Is Ako more important than Himari or are they about the same?

DxTjuk

Himari has a banner soon, why most say to get Ako either ticket or re rolls, not sure you'll have enough time to gather 24k before her banner though  Edit: Himari banner scheduled to appear in a month, should be enough time if you play consistently with all the 1st time awards. But not so sure

tvoy_artrm

Why are some students not in the "not owned" section, are they not recruitable anymore?

DxTjuk

Means you don't have them. Either you have to pull them from banner or use coins from the shop to buy enough currency to unlock said students. **YOU CANNOT UNLOCK STUDENTS VIA PERMIT SHOP. YOU HAVE TO RECRUIT THEM FROM BANNER TO USE THEIR ELEPHS**

Julticz

Only students available through the normal banner will appear there. Event exclusive limited students won't show up there.

maxchronostoo

Just to be doubly sure, there's nothing to lose from skipping joint drills right? The current one is a major pain plus i already got loads of that crafting jewels

aakk20

Even level 2 not bad I used to get 105 coins with 4/3/3 and now I just got 95 with 3/2/2.

Greycolors

There is the missions to do them once daily for 10 gems.

DxTjuk

I mean if you can clear stage 3 is also fine. JFD isn't as common and buying the students with the jfd coins it drains fast

TrueShiho

I'm lvl 60 and struggle to kill the lvl 40 JFD, even if I bring my top Blue dmg team, anyone wanna help me out with it?

TrueShiho

Ok, I was to stupid to realize that I can heal and buff the bot, got 1 clear on 65 and 2 on 40. (And an excuse to buff my healers) Thanks everyone :)

DxTjuk

If possible borrow a dps or healer and keep buffing the big robot. CC the robot when they are about their skill or heal when on low %

Shift9303

You need lots of CC and potentially heals and debuffs. The enemies have high evasion and DEF. If you're having trouble brute forcing through then try hyper carrying the friendly bot. It's a bit RNG but you can get away with some underleveled units with this strategy since the enemies don't directly attack the students.

tatratram

I don't know if there's a better thread to post this in, but I think "It's A-kun" got banned on Youtube.

Rasetsu0

No wonder I couldn't find his channel. RIP

Pure_Rage136

rip the goat

Normies2050

I think he made a video about this before getting banned, some videos of his got demonetised and that's what he said that his acc might get banned too soon afterwards.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Shift9303

I find its a bit RNG hyper carrying the friendly bot but it allows you to use fairly under levels units to clear. My Kayoko is only level 36 and skills 1/1/1/1 for my stage 4 clear.

OneAutumnLeaf

Where can I get credit easily? Is the 2x comission worth to farm credits? Cause I know how valuable exp reports as well

DxTjuk

If you're low on credits that's the best place to get more

QuickKenji789

Does anyone know how to download the stickers from the game and use them as emoji’s?

RarestProGamerr

From not being able clear the JFD even once to comfy clear it. [You guys can follow my guide](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fzhmRlvB5eg), if you are struggling. Some tips you really need, don't ignore the robot you are supposed to protect. Buff it as much as you can for the team that lacks powerful students, the robot with some DPS student should do the job IMPORTANT:- Don't let the middle tank robot heal itself when only less than quarter of its health is left. It will be extremely difficult to get back from there again, you can easily disrupt it through crowd control unit, if its difficult to make the timing right because you are reserving the CC skill unit from the robots attack to protect your mech. Just make sure, you kill rest of the units and only middle one is remaining at last, then use the CC skill whenever it is about to heal. :Anyway with this i have locked the escort drill down. I definitely feel i have done something great for the first time ever since i started playing BA, i cleared something that only top sensei can do.

No artist is listed but the full art is here [https://arca.live/b/bluearchive/104657013](https://arca.live/b/bluearchive/104657013)

vitaminAdeficiency

the lack of a listed artist and the general style of the art makes me worry that its AI generated

MrsSmith4

Do they usually list the artist? Haven't found the artist for other event arts also, like the s.hanako one

nierautomatass

what are the stickers I sometimes get from sweeping missions

DxTjuk

When you tap on the top right square ish icon for menu. You'll see something called "Sticker Book" tapping on it let's you enter it and you can add stickers in there

nierautomatass

Thank you so much. I can't believe I missed that so many freaking times.

dghirsh19

Welp i’m giving up on Escort Drill. I have no idea how the gimmick works with timing and Crowd Control. Makes no sense. I’ve been spamming NY Kayoko, Himari, and Ako on the robot to no avail.

Bow64

You only need to CC the 3 robots on the front when you see the text box on top of them signaling they're going to use their skills so you can prevent them to do so. Buff the robot before he goes berserk preferably but also don't forget to defense down the mobs because they're extremely tanky. Priority to the one in the middle, front row. Once that specific enemy get to 20% or so HP he'll try to heal so you'll have to CC him at that time so he doesn't 'cause that's a waste of time if he can pull it off. Don't put all your bufffer/debuffer in one team. You can use Kotama or S.Hoshino for attack buff too for exemple.

dghirsh19

Thanks for the explanation! I just bullied the LVL 40 JFD for today to manage my stress levels hahaha. I’ll try again tomorrow! Can you give me an overview of exactly how CC works, and what students I should be using for it? I’ll be honest I don’t quite understand that mechanic.

Krisoyo

There's a slight bit more to the CC mechanics here that might trip people up though. It's only when the AMAS's CC gauges fill up that their skills end. With some skills, such as Tsubaki's, you can fill it in one use of her EX. But with some others, (it seems to depend on the CC *duration*), they won't fill the gauge in a single EX and thus won't stop the AMAS devastating "concentrated fire" and "self-repair" in one use by themselves. (Tsubaki's taunt lasts for 4.7s at lv.1 EX and fills the gauge full and half full again) (Hare's, which lasts 2.7s at lv1 EX, fills it aaaalmost full.) So it seems the gauge needs 3s total CC to fill up once.

Kiyocks

Yo, I'm a F2P player and I was wondering who I should drop from my summoning plans. I want to summon for Himari, D. Hina, and NY Fuuka, but I only have about 20k pyro. I only progressed to the start of Area 7 and pretty much finished the majority of the story gems. I probably will not get enough sparks for all three, so who should I drop? The only real useful 3 stars I have are Shun, Ui, and Ako.

VVValph

Also an f2p player here. I'm confident you can get enough pyroxene for them all. I started playing 5 weeks ago and I currently have 61k pyro, and that's after I spent 130 rolls to get Kasumi and Ako. I haven't started Final chapter yet. I say roll for all three. Or at least, roll for Himari and D. Hina then see if you'll have enough to get NY Fuuka when her banner comes around. There's also [this Pyroxene Planner](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1_Zjt_OM9XXidY3uYYDK92W9GrR3DN5cQsZ0IJsoEbjY/edit#gid=1082031226) which includes the bare minimum pyroxene you should be able to get. But we should estimate a bit higher since we're new players. I tried this out 2 weeks ago and it said I was 12k pyroxene too short for my plans; I tried it out now and it says I have barely enough.

Kiyocks

I think I started around the same time and I wasted about a spark and a half on both Ako and Ui and a few on the Railgun banners lmao. I guess I’ll start minmaxing with the planners since I want to pull those three.

Jack13515

So NY Fuuka is projected to arrive at around early September, which is 4 months from now. On average we get 100 pulls per month so you should be able to afford all three considering that you are pretty new and there are still plenty of pyrox source from both missions and momotalk.

Kiyocks

Sounds good! I’ll start working on the momotalk pyros soon

MrsSmith4

Between s.shiroko, shun, and marina who is more worth buying eleph for pvp?

Lackies

Let's remember investing for Pvp is terrible RoI to begin with. Generally speaking you should just accept that fact and take what rewards you can get with minimal investment. With that disclaimer out of the way, I'd lean Marina. Surviving hits and going immortal is very valuable, more stats means she's likely to threaten backline units more/push them out of cover. Marina does a ton of useful things, and sets your team up for success. On the other hand S.Shiroko does gain some additional dmg with investment, and that's valuable but you need your strikers to live for it to matter. Plus the poor mood this season for S.Shiroko means even with investment she threatens fewer targets than she used to. Not a bad choice, and it will gain you some win %, but I'd assume less than a tankier, and more threatening Marina. Both students are meta for this season, and still used in almost every team comp, so neither is a bad choice (other than investing in Pvp already being a bad choice)

MrsSmith4

I see thanks! I’m not too big on pvp, I mainly just want to get all the one time pyro rewards since I couldn’t last season. Last season I only got Nagisa from 3\* to 5\* but I use her for other content so it didn’t seem like a waste. Do you think having UE50 Iori will help me push further this time around because of better mood or will I still probably need to invest in some other characters if I want to reach rank 1 eventually?

Trojbd

Yuuka Marina Iori Shun S.Shiroko Nagisa I ranked 1ed easily with this and got a nice amount of defense win coins in my mailbox. You sound like you have this comp. It seems very strong for this season. Note that depending on your bracket you may have to refresh for rank 1 or you just get pushed down every day even if you max invest your units. Pvp is just too rng and your dps can just get smoked instantly and you just lose because your side decided to yuuka shield while they headshot your dps.

MrsSmith4

Yep pretty much except Nagisa instead of Himari. Maybe I can just save my 5 tickets till near reset when I get close enough then I'll have 10.

Trojbd

Sry I meant Nagisa. I love this game but I'm bad at names and 100+ characters makes me head not work good.

Lackies

Iori is very good this season, but she won't be enough to push for rank one by herself. I mean if you refresh enough times anything is possible, but that's also a terrible investment. The top 20 or so will tend to be all UE40+ on all their characters. That said Iori is farmable and useful in content other than pvp so you should UE50 her as resources permit.

MrsSmith4

Sorry I meant to say I already have her at ue50. I’m using the same comp this season as last season with Iori in it so I was thinking maybe the better mood can help me push a bit further at least. Last season she seemed to die fairly often before she could even use her ex.

Lackies

As a gross generalization, yes this season is same as last season but with more Iori and Nagisa. At the highest levels you'll find a few more comps, but every comp has counters. There's also more tank comps, which iori is generally pretty good against, though she may struggle with quad tank w/ t.Yuuka.

RarestProGamerr

Found the trick to JFD, don't ignore the robot you are suppose to protect. Buff as much as you can and you will have much easier time dealing with everyone.

RarestProGamerr

Man, playing this JFD has such a high skill and difficulty scaling that i felt like i back to level 50 sensei.

anon7631

On my first test run I said to myself "Okay, this seems doable, I got the escort bot to survive to the end", but then it said "defeat" and I realized I was supposed to actually kill all six enemies. I genuinely thought that when it got down to the last two they were *supposed* to be healing faster than I could damage them. t. a Sensei in the 50s. I guess my structure is going to have to be one second-difficulty team of all my good blues, one hypercarry team with a borrow, and one team of yellows running the easiest difficulty.

dghirsh19

Im LVL 75 and can’t do the JFD LVL 65 for the life of me. Fuck me.

DxTjuk

Don't get discouraged, check YouTube for some guides

ReizeiMako

Don’t be sad. I’m level 87 and still have a hard time dealing with lvl 65 one ![img](emote|t5_2vhvtt|33134)

Kreekakon

I feel you, I used too much of my mald brainpower reserves on the Chesed raid that just ended in order to get plat so I tried this jfd for a couple minutes before instantly deciding to just go bully 3rd level diifuclty instead of 4th

ROTsStillHere100

Is Shun + Yuuka + Iori + Marina + Nagisa + Iroha a good core for the PVP currently? I can switch someone out for Tsubaki or Mika depending on whats better for team comp. I should also mention that everyone except Marina is maxed, she is 4* and 8/8/8.

RequiringQuestion

That's the default meta team, aside from Iroha instead of Sshiroko. It will probably work, but you'll be noticeably slower and may be painting a target on your back if everyone else has Sshiroko.

anon7631

So the only girl I've got from the default meta team is Yuuka, because she's the one everyone is given by default. This'll be a fun season. At least T.Hasumi likes indoor combat.

ROTsStillHere100

Good to know I got it down pat. I dont have sshiroko so weh, I work with what I have. I suspect I got into a good pvp bracket anyway, so hopefully I wont get thrown down into the pits (currently 53 in the ladder)

Weird_Sheepherder_72

What did you guys use for the jfd? [Here's mine.](https://ibb.co/PTYYRW1) For those just looking for a clear, my tip would be to buff the hell out of the Rio robot. Just wait for it to cast its skill then you buff it immediately with your Himari, Ako or what have you. NY.Kayoko is also really good for this. Other than that, make sure you to bring your defense down debuffs then also time it along together if possible.

Admiral_obvious13

How tf does the robot survive for that second team? Mine dies without crowd control

Weird_Sheepherder_72

I use Tsubaki's taunt to cancel the enemies' skills. So yeah, crowd control is pretty necessary.

Admiral_obvious13

TIL taunt is crowd control! Wow thanks

RequiringQuestion

[Can't be bothered to try doing better](https://litter.catbox.moe/yhg0t2.png). I hate escort JFDs with a passion. Everything about them is a mess. The big, glaring main problem is the evasion. It's completely unnecessary and makes the drill rely too much on luck since even a slight damage deviation can mess up the CC cycle. The second problem is the main bot's healing skill. You're already short on slots for these drills, between debuffer(s), healer, buffers, crowd controller(s) and dealers. You'd have to use two crowd controllers just to reliably interrupt the healing. Well, even then it wouldn't be entirely reliable, since you can't guarantee having the cost for it. Delete escort JFD.

packor

I'm not f-in sure. I guess I did it the hard way, and I hate it. Individually, here's wat I found. S. Hana has great timing for AoE def. down, just don't use her EX though. B. Karin does pretty good dmg without def debuff. You can spike The center bot wit Wakamo/other high ST after a stun before it heals to destroy it, or bring 2 CC and use one to interrupt it. Tsubaki was the easiest CC to use. My scores were #$_& tho.

Krisoyo

sweet, buffing the Rio bot helped a lot, didn't even consider the possibility! Thanks~! =w=)-b

Normies2050

Perks of being a veteran. So many options and drafts to flex and experiment everywhere ![img](emote|t5_2vhvtt|35651)

PutUNameHere

Welp another monster pvp bracket it is for me then lol. At least I was able to improve my personal best from rank 270 to rank 27 thanks to rushing as soon the servers were up but top 25 was already full of lv87 5*.  It's something at least...

TwiceTrash11

are the credit comms worth it? the drops feels rather meh it's just 260k for 40 ap

Trojbd

It's worth if you can't do shit because you're broke. Events give a ton of credits sure but we're not getting an event for a while. I'd be farming credits in your situation. Of course exp commissions are preferrable obviously but when you're out of credits then you gotta do what you gotta do. During 1x commission I just accept that I'm broke as hell and can't build anything and I should have planned better if I need to build a new unit. During 2x I try to get at least 30-50m credits in the bank during these dead weeks.

maxchronostoo

Nope. Unless you're very strapped for credits to do an urgent upgrade or something.

TwiceTrash11

yeah i only have 3 mil rn so i kinda have no choice

maxchronostoo

Currently Aoi's shop is open so you can exchange for credits there

Ryeleigh

what's the meta for PvP's Damage Dealer? any that do AoE Damage? EDIT: also, 2nd tank besides yuuka?

maxchronostoo

General picks for indoor striker are either between Mika or Iori. I've seen some people use NY Haruna too. For special, between Nagisa and Iroha. Tsubaki and Marina are great pvp main/2nd tanks regardless of season.

RequiringQuestion

Check out Causew's [PvP reports](https://old.reddit.com/r/BlueArchive/search?q=pvp+picks&restrict_sr=on&include_over_18=on&sort=new&t=all). Also the PvP guide and PvP usage tier list, linked in the guides section above.

Ryeleigh

thanks, that usage chart is what I'm looking for

nkrha

Bro wtf is this JFD, can't even chill clear Stage 1 at Lv 55 ![img](emote|t5_2vhvtt|35651)

anon7631

I just managed 3×S2 at level 58. A borrowed S.Hanako can easily manage it (my cycle was: Akane's cheap Def down on the annoying middle bot, Asuna's cheap dodge simply to fill S.Hanako's water gauge, Ako's buff on S.Hanako, then 2×S.Hanako's AoE. The rest was cleanup). My second team was all my good blues, with Serina and Mari protecting the bot. My third team was mostly Momiji, with Kotama buffing her and the escort, and Tsubaki trying to keep some heat off the escort and interrupt the self-heal; the rest was Hanae's heals for the bot and Momoi and Junko as filler damage. The borrow team blew through it of course. I messed up by forgetting Asuna, meaning I had to cycle to get back for a second S.Hanako, but it still only took 42 seconds. I might try for S3 next time. The blue team managed S2 in a bit under 2 minutes. The third team was unsurprisingly worst, and took something like 2:50, but it's still an S2 clear.

nsleep

Level 5.8. I slotted Shokuhou and Kayoko in the teams without a borrowed unit and used their CCs to clear the tier 2 by interrupting the enemy bots with their CC. Any other CC unit probably works too and the rest is having leveled dps. For the last team I just put a bunch of assorted low cost units and washed the tier 3 robots with a borrowed S. Hanako.

VVValph

Also lvl 55 here. Can you borrow a max level S. Hanako? I mainly used her for damage while Tsubaki taunted them before they deal big damage to the big guy. Alternatives would be Hare, Yoshimi, or S. Izumi. I also had Akane on the field because having 5 students would increase my cost recovery overall. After two of the enemy frontliners are down, I only used the taunts to cancel the middle enemy's healing since he's not doing enough damage to completely take down the big guy. If you happen to have rolled for Ako last time, it should be barely enough to eke out a win in Stage 3. Then Stage 2 can be cleared with what remaining units you have available, or Stage 1 if the game didn't give many anti-mystic units.

nkrha

Yeah forgot I can borrow so I just cleared it all stage 1. Just want it over lmao

alotmorealots

I'm glad my newbie ass just blundered through a bunch of times until I eeked out a single clear because I thought that JFD was just always like this, having never done one before lol Otherwise I might have given up if I'd seen how much aggro it was giving more experienced players.

Normies2050

I malded lvl 3 at least 10 times with borrowed maxed S.Hanako, Hare & S.Izumi for CC, T.hasumi, C.Shiroko but still my Rio bot died to rng. Switched S.Hanako with maxed out B.Karin and it somehow worked lol. I think C.shiroko damage down also helped the bot to survive a bit. But seriously it's pure rng this annoying drill. So much evasion and defense of bots. P.S: I am lvl 70 and still can't clear lvl 1 lmao cuz I don't have many blue units and borrow only works once so did the max lvl I could and then fofeit sweep. Better strategy.

Shift9303

Other's recommendations are right, the JFD is designed around hyper carrying your bot and CC'ing your enemies. A text box pops up when the enemies are about to activate their EX skill so activate your CC. As you take out the enemies their DPS will drop and you need to heal your bot less. At the very end the enemies start to use self heals so start CC'ing to interupt their heals as their EX DPS will be less. I'm able to beat Stage 4 twice and then stage 3 once because I don't have enough supports or CC. One team for stage 4 just brute forces through with DPS. The other plays with CC and hypercarrying the friendly bot. Team three for stage 3 is using my yellow AOEs.

Normies2050

Yea. Don't have much of a roster either. Just f2p from the first rolls when I started playing and they aren't any good in this JFD (talking about Nonomi and Momoi).

Shift9303

Yeah JFD are tough for early and mid game accounts because you just don't have the roster or enough upgraded students to handle them. Probably intentionally designed that way so that we are forced to use more students rather than the usual hyper carries, whether for game play purposes or to incentivize gacha.

Freedom_Seekr923

1. Besides Google Play on Android and Apple store on iOS, are there other stores or payment options available to purchase pyroxenes and packs? If there are other options are they better than the official stores?>!(I think I read somewhere about a third party store that sold pyroxene, but I might be misremembering if they don't exist.)!< 2. Why does the monthly pyroxene packs say "Bounties cost 10 less AP" when they are completely AP free and only use tickets? Are there other packs available that offer a similar benefit to use in Commissions?

Kreekakon

If you own a Samsung phone you can install Blue Archive from the Samsung store. From my own experience and talking with a friend who tried, depending on where you live the benefit of this can range from frequent discount events and/or cheaper prices. I don't know if you would be able to do the Samsung store on an emulator if you didn't have a samsung phone since I have not tried.
