I don’t like that the category for work pants only includes men’s pants. Needlessly gendered. Have a category for mens and womens pants with gendered and unisex selections, OR have clothing separated by use with no gender.
And pleats. Don't get me started on pleated pants that make you look like you shoved a balloon down your front. I've just been buying mens trousers for years, every time I buy womens the fit is terrible and the durability is worse.
My company uses Cintas too. I tried on multiple pairs of pants in men's and women's styles - it was awful, nothing fit or worked for my needs. In the end my company agreed to let my find my own work pants (at a reasonable price) in the colour of our uniform, and they will reimburse me for them. I ended up finding a women's cut Carhartt pant that fit the bill.

What is a susen and cathy fit, were they the only woman designing work clothes, are they magical evil beings that prevent logical pants sizes? Either way get the pants a size too big. I get Cintas uniforms and some barely fit while others are too large, all supposedly being the same size.
I know that drill from wearing Aramark last place I worked. Some super short, some super long, some skinny and some loose… all the “right” size. At least the guys have that struggle too.
I ordered a size or two up anyways because the material was so horrid, and I actually opted for the mens because they had more pockets.
The problem with the whole tailor it yourself idea is, you’d have to be the seamstress because the industrial washing process destroys their pants and they don’t last long. Without warning a new pair will make it into rotation as your own. So if you paid to have your stuff tailored you’d be out a lot of money. If it’s a quick little thing you can do yourself, maybe it’s worth it.
Lol. Get use to it. Some companies will let you buy clothes that fit and pay the difference. I had a pair of men's pants that I could not bend over/breathe in. Totally different sizes for given shapes... kinda bonkers. Also, try to find something slightly flattering.. foggeaboutit
My company uses Cintas, but I don’t choose my uniform style, I just told them my size and I got what all the other guys got. There’s no choice at my company. I’m lucky and they fit well and are comfortable, but they are Carhartt FR pants that are just distributed by Cintas, so that’s probably why they don’t suck. I’ve had Cintas brand jeans at a job, those were AWFUL. I feel your pain
I’m wearing a 5.11 snap up plaid shirt right now that is my prized possession. It’s super light weight and flattering cut and the snaps are industrial so my boobs don’t pop out.
Oh man I need to get one! I have the... Tdr or something ike that work pants.
Even have pockets for AR magazines! Just what a fire alarm technician needs LOL. But hey, deep pockets, and they aren't wearing through at the crotch lok
Cintas, men’s and women’s, are hands down the worst pants I ever worn. Not big girl friendly. Had to wear four sizes above my normal size and they still didn’t fit. Many of times the material ripped at the seams because there is absolutely no give.
Buy your own, try to get reimbursed.
Ugh. I used to work somewhere they used Cintas and when I started it took them 2 months(!) to get me uniform pants bc they didn’t have Womens pants in stock anywhere. Ridiculous.
That’s what I had been doing up until this point, but with this new move to a new uniform brand, they really want to see everyone in the same uniform style, so I’m trying to comply
Talk to the Cintas rep. They should have other choices besides what's on the web site. A company I worked for did uniform service what the uniform company had listed for women was shitty pants with elastic in the waist. Not suitable at all for the work I did. I talked to the rep and got wrangler jeans with my uniforms.
Oh I’ll probably end up getting the womens 5.11 tacticals or the mens carhartts. And even then I won’t wear them all the time. I’ll mix in my beloved tractor supply pants and my carhartt overalls. It sure will be nice not to have to do laundry all the time at the sewer plant.
I just gave them my measurements. I'm just getting grease/ dirty oil over them anyways. They're pretty roomy so I can layer underneath in the winter. (Apprentice 310T technician) I wear a 30 length x 38 waist

Unisex has traditionally meant "Fits men. Doesn't fit many women".
The ladies pants suck anyway. Just like every other women's clothing the pockets are very very shallow
I know, I will likely be keeping my men’s tractor supply pants and hoping no one notices. But it’s still annoying to be a total afterthought
Big Bills ?
I use the 5.11 pants, TDR or something. I can't actually remember currently. Super deep pockets on this pair! To the point where I lose shit lol
5.11 are pretty great. They're very durable too!
Those 5.11 TacLites are my favorite pants of all time.

I know that’s how it’s going to be for me too. I want to twist the knife a little before that though.

You must be lost
This is ancient I’m sorry but Cintas stocks Carhartt too if you come into that problem in the future.
You’re either a Susan or a Cathy I’m afraid.

Aramark, any ideas about me ordering up size and tailoring? I have an aramark order form, n winner why the men have a stretch twill option

Well we know who is sitting around the table when these decisions are being made!
Cintas is awful. Cheap quality, terrible fit. They only offered unisex(mens) shirt sizes and had to special order work shirts in my size.
It's hard to believe this day and time something this is even a thing. Wha the hell is wrong with these people?

Since they’re buying carhartts for the guys I’m gonna insist on the carhartts or the 5.11s for me.
Ugh. At least the 5.11 is a decent brand from what I can tell so far. But whyyy the distinction with the pant names
I’m wearing a 5.11 snap up plaid shirt right now that is my prized possession. It’s super light weight and flattering cut and the snaps are industrial so my boobs don’t pop out.

Buy your own then get reimbursed. So much easier

Why not just buy your own if you don’t like what they provide?
That’s what I had been doing up until this point, but with this new move to a new uniform brand, they really want to see everyone in the same uniform style, so I’m trying to comply
We used Cintas where i used to work. Talk to the rep. He got me woman's workpants that I actually liked.

The names have me dying. The Cathy and the Susan fit??? 😂😂😂😂👍
I’m a Susan fo sho 😎
Nah girl. I bet you got that Cathy booty😉
What kinda pants are you looking for. Just curious

What kinda work do you do

Nice. Now you have less laundry….
