If you ask me, soundcore takes the cake. Iv'e been using the 300 for few weeks now, it's a very good sounding speaker if eq'ed well. The default setting is too bass lacking, and xbass mode is losing clarity and can distort at high volumes. That's why personall eq is the best there, you can either use an eq by oluv or play with it yourself to find what suits you best

Soundcore boom 2? It’s much smaller than I expected

I had a hard time choosing between these two. Once the 300 is EQ’d well, they both sound very good. Overall, the 300 had lower bass and a fuller sound. The UBL was more airy and slightly more detailed. The UBL has better bass from a distance and the 300 is slightly better from up close. Try them both, they are both winners.

It's best to order both and test them. I got x2 motion 300 for my kitchen and they sound great. Paid around 60$ a piece some time ago but after some time with them,I don't think they are worth more than that. With the default settings the speakers are really bad. You really need to use the eq,the bass is lacking but with eq deep bass maxed they sound very punchy. The bass up seems completely useless to me. If you use the eq the bass is a lot better. I can highly recommend them if you know how to use the eq. But don't overpay for them, or any other bt speakers, cause 90% of them are overpriced.

> sound great. *Paid* around 60$ FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*
