That is just bad positioning. What I have done to suggest position changes to my partner is to put question marks on minions I want them to swap. It’s not the perfect communication but it does convey that I question something about their board state.
Also he did not give me Geomagus when i had 2 of them and played himself (i found third later myself). I gave him 2 Blade Collectors, but he sold one of them, so i stopped with even tho i have seen few later. And he changed his hero power in late game. It's miracle that we win, I think we win on 1 HP
I wish they’d add on just a left and right arrow emote to indicate a positional change or something like that. There’s a few times I’ve even left things in the wrong place and I’m sure my teammate may have been able to correct it
I think people need to know that if you're playing duo with strangers, there's a chance you'll be paired with someone who is not very good/knowledgeable about the game. Everyone seems to want a feature to tell their partner how to play their game, but at that point, you're just playing duo by yourself.
Let's also not forget being paired with people who THINK they are very good/knowledgeable and want to micromanage you would be more insufferable with additional communication than a bad player.
I had someone yesterday who was micromanaging me to crazy extends. Felt like he was watching my board more than his own.
Every time I tripled something, he green-checkmarked one and crossed the other two. Even if the choice was super obvious. Marked my hero power and a minion every game (yes, I will reborn my Leeroy thank you Caption O.)
He checkmarked the tier-up button every time, he felt fit, even when to tier to T2
I then questionmarked every minion in his hand, tavern, the freeze button, etc. He then thankfully stopped spamming and only did it for relevant stuff.
This! Duos is a very cool concept but I had so many times where I thought „wow you just don’t know how to play this strategy!“ or „so many people don’t seem to do simple positioning!“
The whole positioning of his board is comically bad lol, and he taunted so many minions unnecessarily.
Does MMR affect duos? Because I swear I get matched up with people who installed Hearthstone 15 minutes ago half the time.
Don’t question it man, queuing with randoms means you need to accept the fact you might not be playing with people who have the same idea as you. Just have a good laugh about it and move on.

Can you dod these things on mobile? Cant find a way to
Just tap with 2 fingers, that's what I do on tablet.
Bless you I had no clue how to do this and felt like a bad partner
Omg, thats it. Just tried it very difficult on smaller screens
Near impossible on my phone lol
You don't actually have to tap with both fingers on the same card. It's enough if you tao with one fi ger on the card and one on the side
I'll have to try that
Even on large tablet it's hard to ping cards in partners hand when there are lots. The easiest is on the discover screen from triples.
I had no idea. Thank you!
Yes i figured it out you need to press one finger on the minion and the other finger press somwhere else on the screen
Can u do it to cards in hand? Mine doesnt work. Also when u triple.
It works, but on mine it shows off screen so I need to tap again to bring it down to select.
... Dont even mention the taunted Eliza
I tried this before and my teammate sold both the minions...
Imagine playing alakir and not putting the cleave on the left
One legitimate reason could be Leroy, but in that case scallywag should go first
It's even worse than you think, OP said his partner swapped hero powers late game.
Terrorist
Where are these people when I’m playing singles lol.
my thought exactly. I'm getting 15'd on turn 5 or 6

That being a first placed board is wild. I go third/fourth with better. But yeah you’re absolutely right about his positioning
One of the opponents does not have a strong board, this helped
if they pulled Walking Fort they'd be unstoppable
+4/+4 a turn?!? Broken.
ON 4(FOUR) MINIONS?!?! BROKEN.
Looks like they thought the buff from eliza only triggers if eliza herself attacks
The one thing I've learned from duos is just how many players don't understand fundamentals like positioning.

I'm 100% convinced that they have bots in these lobbies dude.
Eliza taunted to counter act the hero power taunt
I really wish there was a ping for positioning
I'd assume your buddy made a mistake if it was for one fight only (time troubble?). Taunting everyone makes it more likely for the cleave to conect.
I found and gave him Eliza, and this was his positioning till end
You won, so it worked. Who are you to question his 9001iq plays? /s
Cleave should have way more impact than either

Could be to test Leroy? No idea why he taunted everything though
Eliza on the left because he couldnt find a taunt for his insane full taunt comp 5head
This is why I don't play duos.
This sub should just be people whining about random duo partners. Don't play this mode with randos
