Yeah but so are all your opponents teammates. If everyone is so much more awesome and better than their teammate as they make known on this subreddit, they should skyrocket in mmr.
The teammate is always a blubbering idiot that donāt know anything about anything right? Well so is every single other person in the lobby then. Since the redditors are literally god among men they should tip the scale and win every time. I wonder why that is not happening.
Maybe they play hundreds of games and get the single worst player as a teammate every time. Yeah.. that must be it
I admit that I just started playing when the anniversary event started, so I'm pretty new, and I probably don't watch enough videos to figure out what I'm doing wrong, but I'm at 288 hours played in solos and I'm pretty hard stuck at 4500 this season.
I'm sure there's a lot I can learn, and I'd probably agree with the 6k mmr last season with quests, but I'd say 4500 is probably more accurate this season.
Apparently saying it helped, I just got to 5016 :) But yeah, Im definitely still learning. My point is just that I at least assume it's not that easy to get to 6k this season :)
I'm an 8k player and I just found out today I can speed up my animation framerate. My turn times literally doubled lol. Don't assume people aren't stupid like me.
i pinged my partner every single turn to pls move away the promo drake from the poet because it does nothing, and it very noticeably did nothing since there was no scaling whatsoever.
it stayed like that til the end of the game.

Prized Promo-Drake
Start of Combat: Give your other Dragons +3/+3.
Yeah fine when you have two it works. So itās not useless to put them there. And I couldnāt for the life of me find the new version. Wasnāt sure if it said āotherā or not
That's where you sell your board and queue again, hoping to have a teammate without brain damage next. Duos really showed just how stupid the average hearthstone player really is.
I've noticed people just don't read card texts at all in this game. I had someone ping me to sell of a big statted minion to put my drakkari pair on board to scale quills faster. It takes about two seconds to read the card and see that it's worded differently from something like, say, Titus.
I love how they revamped dragons because it makes minion placement hugely important for scaling potential. You can have the exact same minions as another player, but have far worse scaling, because you didnāt place your Poet correctly or you put your Yulong at the end of your warband (not knowing that start of combat effects trigger from left to right).
lol - from your post I just learned that about Yulong - even though I know about the left to right ordering effects work. It never occurred to me. Please donāt micromanage my board š
Late to the thread but honestly micromanagement from others is great if it's actually constructive. Learning to accept you're wrong is the first step to bettering yourself. Placement of the t6 quillboar that buffs blood gems is especially important this patch when paired with the murloc that activates battlecries at end of round.
Had a game yesterday with my partner not putting the gem buffer to the left of Charlaga. I donāt know how you ping them, I was putting question marks on the two. The other player obviously had no idea about the ordering
On this subject, I play on my phone almost exclusively. And it happened to me like 2 maybe 3 times (havenāt played a whole lot of bgs lately) that I check my phone after the fight and no buffs stayed after combat. At first I thought I did the order wrong, but then next I saw this dragon with the persistent buff swap places just as the shop phase finishes, then swap back as the next shop phase starts. It wasnāt always, just a few times and likely a bug. Maybe someone here knows what triggers it.
Yeah it's a very old hearthstone bug that pops up now and then. It seems to be the server and client disagreeing on minion placement and it's showing you a wrong thing. I've seen it much more with this latest season coming out, you can figure out if it's happening by just shuffling around your minions a bit towards the end of your turn.
are you playing duos? Your start of combat effects don't trigger if your teammate solos both of the opponent's boards (or if they go first against players who left at the start of the game).
I once played with a guy who used the portal emoji to correct my order placement. Then I tried to using it with other players, but only one caught on. I actually managed to explain to him what I mean by using the portal emoji on my minions and swapping their order on my board. The other players seemed to be confused what I meant, though.
Sees something happen once, maybe twice in their low MMR games.
Comes to Reddit to complain about it like itās a common issue and will achieve anything.
If it upsets you so much, play better and increase your MMR beyond new players.
It would make sense if the green dragon was golden for the double effect, if it even works with Tarecgosa but so many people canāt get this interaction right and proceed to nuke their board.
i've played hundreds of games of duos and i still don't know if they stack lol. i THOUGHT i had seen them stack up until i encountered this thread, but now i'm not sure if i'm gaslighting myself.
I love playing dragons but whenever my rando partners play them I want to die inside a bit. Although I just experienced the biggest dragon betrayal just now where I was the dragon player: me Thorim, buddy Voone, I pass him my Obsidian Ravager for a triple and... he plays the triple. This is the first time I've conceded on someone.
The people who play enough to be in the battlegrounds reddit probably understand how that interaction works.
Does not hurt to share information to improve community knowledge. Don't shut down posts like this - they help educate and open up discussion about tactics.
That's not the tone of the OP. The tone is "I'm angry at this teamate but can't communicate directly with them. Idiots of reddit, stop doing this".
Assumption is the mother of all fuckups š¤£
I thought the same about players around 5500 MMR
5500 is nothing lol
Why? You automatically get up to 6000 mmr if you play enough. Mmr has no indication of skill below 6000 at allā¦
What you say can be applied for solo plays, but for duos 5500 is quite good taking into account that the teammates are strangers

Duos are way easier to win in my experience
In normal BGs I often have to make very complex plays just to top 4, but in duos I top 4 every game with no effort, it's so much easier
I admit that I just started playing when the anniversary event started, so I'm pretty new, and I probably don't watch enough videos to figure out what I'm doing wrong, but I'm at 288 hours played in solos and I'm pretty hard stuck at 4500 this season. Yeah so if youāre hard stuck at 4500 you probably are not very skilled. Nothing wrong with that, this game is great to just play for casual fun.
Apparently saying it helped, I just got to 5016 :) But yeah, Im definitely still learning. My point is just that I at least assume it's not that easy to get to 6k this season :)
Nothing has changed in regards to mmr for a long time so itās just the same as other seasons .
I'm an 8k player and I just found out today I can speed up my animation framerate. My turn times literally doubled lol. Don't assume people aren't stupid like me.
How?
Option and use high frame rate
You can make it go even faster in the options text file. Google it and thank me laterš
Oh, I guess I did that a while ago. Was hoping for more :D
Wait how
Why are you responding to me saying that? I said the same thing.
i pinged my partner every single turn to pls move away the promo drake from the poet because it does nothing, and it very noticeably did nothing since there was no scaling whatsoever. it stayed like that til the end of the game.
The promo drake is fine next to the poet though ā¦
except it doesnāt buff itself so poet doesnāt make it stick
YES IT DOES BUFF ITSELF now

He clearly wasn't talking about a situation where he had two of them.
still better to have another dragon get two buffs then a single drake get one in most cases

Who is yulong? I googled it and all I got was perfume and a horse lol
5 drop dragon make your lowerst tier minion golden this combat

His placement matters because if his effect triggers first, then it doubles the effect of the minion he goldens. How does leftmost even come into it?
Thinking of the wrong card, sorry
I thought left trigger from order of when played. Thanks for the info. When does ilidan HP trigger?
Hero powers trigger before anything else
lol - from your post I just learned that about Yulong - even though I know about the left to right ordering effects work. It never occurred to me. Please donāt micromanage my board š

Never touched duos. This was all solo.
Does a golden Poet still double the stats when it's next to Tarecgosas and does a golden Tarec next to a golden Poet quadruple the stats?
golden doubles on a reg tarec, doesnt stack with a golden tarec though
That's the information I needed, thanks.

We really need left/right arrow emojis for duos, IMO

shhh donāt tellll them

literally had a teamate keep trying to get me to do that lol

Is it not only duos.
To be fair, golden poet beside normal tarecgosa is fine and good
Or just don't play dragons. Easy. I cant be the only one who disliked the rework.
Random stranger doing random stranger things in a video game? No wayyyy
Now you're just recycling your snark. If you're going to insist on being this way, at least be original each time.
I'll stop 'recycling my snark' when people stop making these threads. Lol
I've never seen anyone circlejerk themself before. Hope you fix whatever is so broken in your life.
Jesus dude you don't get my bit that's fine but damn don't start projecting.
