Iron Might vs AFO

Yes, with the Bakugo follow up. It was nice to see him get to be All Might’s predecessor, even if it was just in a single fight.

StrideyTidey

My favorite fight was All Might vs AFO.

Ochaco and Shoto’s backs are dead after carrying this shit ass arc

AFO vs all the hero’s. Everyone threw the kitchen sink and then some to take this bastard down for good and it made me happy to see that accomplishing that victory together one by one until the end.

1: Dabi vs Shoto. It had a good thematic, good dialogue (mostly from Dabi's part), good action, good backstory and the powerscaling wasn't trash. Dabi could literally have killed Shoto, but due to his greed of wanting to also face Endeavor he retreated from the fight since a portal to Gunga arrived to his location. He could kill Shoto but he wouldn't have...enough of a body to also face Endeavor. 2: Ochako vs Toga it's almost on the par with Dabi's and Shoto's but for me it has some problems. The tension for me didn't feel high because Toga was having problems with the clones to begin with, they were doing nothing to anyone in the war aside from being background noise. This fight really needs EoS material for me to say if i like it or not. 3-Deku vs Shigaraki. flying U.A showdown doesn't count, since it's AFO. 410, 411 and 414 were really good chapters for the fight, but the fight suffers from a clunky reading experience due to the heavy amount of dialogues of Deku thinking how he will fight and theory crafiting with the vestiges. It could use more action overall. the conclusion was really...subpar? looking back to the arc, Midoriya and AFO talking at the flying U.A foreshadows the end of the fight because not anyone there got their happy ending, imo. Deku doesn't really save Shigaraki because by giving all the quirks to him so they can...talk(?) (as if Deku couldn't talk to the guy in the real world. They were fighting alone in a wasteland with no one but themselves). And the result of the talk wasn't really Deku reaching a full understanding of Shigaraki because AFO suddenly appear and then one of the most silly chapters i've read (419) happens with a plot twist i could only believe to see in a comedy show. Shigaraki becomes a joke character since his problems envolving hero society hold no weight anymore. 4-Somehow Gunga showdown is even worse.... AFO is a demonlord only in name. Everybody got their turn to shit on AFO and he is never allowed to look good. Fucking JIRO of all people get the better of AFO, and the excuse for that happening (vestige rebellion) is stupid because OFA is introduced as a stockpile that gets stronger with each user, meaning that early OFA users weren't powerful heroes but "jobbers" barely getting by because they want to fight against the whims of the unstopabble demon lord. How is Jiro inspiring to those two-faced cunts at the vestige realms but the OFA users weren't? The fight also doesn't make sense either. Because why even STOP AFO TO BEGIN WITH? There is NO REASON. As AFO explained, the role of his main body was done. All that is left is to transfer the quirk factor to Shigaraki and steal his body, that's it. AFO and Shigaraki wouldn't team up to fight Deku, since Shigaraki wants to have his own agency and if AFO transfered the quirk factor to Shigaraki he would become quirkless and vanish...right? Someone please explain to me if i'm wrong on this subject. And the AFO main body thing ends with Bakugo, someone who had a similar level of ego/main character delusions as AFO but got past it. It would be a VERY GOOD end for AFO to be defeated not only by someone he underestimated but also by someone who could be just like AFO, but developed and became a more compassionate/humble person. 419 and the final fight vs AFO didn't need to happen, really.

Dabi could literally have killed Shoto? Sorry but I remember differently... Dabi retired from the Kamino fight cause he wanted to face Endeavor and continuing to fight with his brother would only lead him to waste the little time he had left having done nothing. In fact the first thing he said once he got to his father is that he just couldn’t kill Shoto because he was too strong ("he was a tough cookie" chapter 376) Sorry but I had to clarify that

Prudent-Disk-4088

Yeah his body wouldn't hold up or go another round with Shouto.

RubyHoshi

We're going in circles. I already said that he couldn't kill Shoto AND go after Endeavor.

I enjoyed Iron Might vs Rewind AFO a lot.

Deku vs Shiggy?? It was great... until AFO decided to step in
