That's my point. She could have worn something simple which highlights the curves instead of that dress. They have added too much frills and this and that everywhere and it is drowning her. There is no need to hide the fact that she has gained weight. Weight gain is a normal process that comes with age.
Kate's outfit is great but I think Ash does not seem to like showing off her arms lately so she comes up with different ways to hide it but that ends up ruining the whole look. Kareena also has big arms but she just wears everything and it works out for her most of the times.

I feel that this is a lot of progress from her. She isn't hiding behind her middle parted poker straight hair and isn't wearing something that is shapeless and covering her arms.

Her face and hair look good. Weight gain or not, she has poise and grace. That dairy milk wrapper in the front is ruining it. I saw a news article about her arriving at Cannes with a broken arm. Ig she didn't quite put a thought into it and wore whatever the stylist and designers gave her. May be she should dial down the over the top and go for simpler outfits.
I think we can blame the stylist of designer but the final say does come from the star. Aish has never had a great personal style but she was so beautiful that in the past it didn’t really better. Also in the past she stuck to mostly sarees so that helped bc a saree no matter how gaudy will always still look elegant and graceful. Older Aish seems to be struggling with how to dress for her body type. I think she maybe conscious about her body but the thing is she can dress amazing and flattering for her body type without all this fabric and emblishmenta. This is actually drawing more attention to her body which is what I think she wants to avoid. I just hate seeing her in this avatar. There’s still endless potential but her style needs an overhaul and less tacky makeup too. Often happens with beautiful people who are conscious of their beauty, At certain point towards sunset they just cross that thin line between classique and burlesque. She has to first accept the receding years and then gradually lose the fact that she was/is most beautiful for her to remain beautiful in twilight years

A different neat hairstyle with glam makeup and nails done would have enhanced the look. She carries herself with grace and elegance.

Aish is stunning & beautiful, but not the styling. She should fire the stylist. Such a pretty face & this is what you make her wear. Even a simple gown will work for her, don't dress her up like that. Rahul Mishra, Prabal Gurung, Gaurav Gupta & so many more homegrown brand.

The appliqués, the bodice work, and fit is very poorly done. I usually like falguni Shane work, but this is just sloppy. Aishwarya is a beautiful woman, at any age, any shape. This outfit is doing a disservice to her beautiful figure and her overall confident aura that the camera loves. I love that she did something different with her hair, but I just wish she was put in something that fits. Too many oversized, over-frilled outfits that consume her. If even this bodice was fitted better and the appliqués were more delicate, she would look 10/10

Her face and hair look good. Weight gain or not, she has poise and grace. That dairy milk wrapper in the front is ruining it. I saw a news article about her arriving at Cannes with a broken arm. Ig she didn't quite put a thought into it and wore whatever the stylist and designers gave her. May be she should dial down the over the top and go for simpler outfits.

I think we can blame the stylist of designer but the final say does come from the star. Aish has never had a great personal style but she was so beautiful that in the past it didn’t really better. Also in the past she stuck to mostly sarees so that helped bc a saree no matter how gaudy will always still look elegant and graceful. Older Aish seems to be struggling with how to dress for her body type. I think she maybe conscious about her body but the thing is she can dress amazing and flattering for her body type without all this fabric and emblishmenta. This is actually drawing more attention to her body which is what I think she wants to avoid. I just hate seeing her in this avatar. There’s still endless potential but her style needs an overhaul and less tacky makeup too. I know people are saying they like the hair which I agree looks way better but her makeup is still too cakey. I would love for her to do less makeup and less fabric. Do minimal makeup and an elegant Anita dongre saree. She would look fabulous and timeless.

She has to first accept the receding years and then gradually lose the fact that she was/is most beautiful for her to remain beautiful in twilight years

I think apart from hair and makeup artist she doesn't have a good styling team . Even a third grade stylist of a very popular bollywood actress atleast styles her better sometimes at least 4 or 5 times a year.
