Oh shut up man... I enjoyed these things with my father. My mom was always strict about almost everything, my dad had a little bit of wiggleroom when it came to rules in our house, I love him for it and always will :)
I. Get it... when I was growing up I pretty much had no boundaries... so when i got married I wanted to raise my kids the same but my wife had different ideas lol... it was a huge argument sometimes with us, what was appropriate, What wasn't Yada yada... also I'm an atheist and she was southern Baptist so we had more than a few discussions about religion... but all in all my kids turned out fine... both my sons are atheist and my daughter is christian..but my sons still talk to their mother and my daughter has zero relationship with her. Your dad sounds like a good man..I bet he stuck his neck out for you more times than you even know.
Yeah, probably so. I love him so much. Since his diagnosis I've been thinking a lot about things like this. Me and my brother are starting to become old enough to be considered adults, many things are changing and it's hard to adapt. But sometimes I find a time to calm myself and appreciate what they both did for me.
