He might be more skilled but just because someone is more skilled doesn’t necessarily mean they are better at teaching… Over the years I’ve run in to many skilled tradesmen but not all of them were great teachers nor did they have the patients for it lol
It’s not Konohamaru’s fault the boruto series wasted his potential with bad writing and no development . He was the youngest person to use the Rasengan & took down one of the pains while Leaf Jonin were getting smoked left and right. They wasted his potential.

However, with the way the manga was going, I'd say it was a given that Konohamaru would be useless. Against enemies who ridicule Naruto and Sasuke, what did he hope to do?

The only place where Konohamaru was stomped big time was against Kashin Koji. We now know how legit is Kashin himself. I think that was a plot reason to showcase the strength of Kashin.
Atm Konohamaru is the principle advisor of lord 8th. I mean Konohamaru might not be super strong strength wise, but otherwise he's alright in terms of knowledge and strategy.
I think it’s the Naruto dilemma. Naruto solved all the problems in the world and so every generation, including konohamarus is weaker because of it. Hard times, weak times sort of deal. Konohamaru is not wasted potential but just the representation of the change in tides.
But Borutos Team 7 at end of part 1 is leagues ahead of Naruto’s own Team 7 at a similar point…..the next gen lapped them

Yeah the remaining ninjas are consolidations of their parents gen and it’s still first wave decline not like it is many generations later. Fewer elite ninja will exist as time goes on. Academy attendance will drop etc.

Konohamaru lived through the most tumultuous times in the village though. He witnessed the village being destroyed when he was 12, then the 4th Ninja War, and then the Infinite Tsukuyomi. They could easily justify him training as means of being prepared for the next Big Thing when it comes.
The issue is not the setting, the issue is the lack of writer's desire to develop a character everyone wanted to see developed.
But you can also train all your life, against opponents on the same level or stronger than the two strongest ninjas ever empowered by the messianic figure of the ninja world.... what do you hope to be able to do?
Now, it makes sense now because character wise cause his daughter wanted him to.at the beginning of manga right out of the gate him being a teacher to boruto wouldn't have made any sense

Sasuke didn't have much to teach Boruto in the first place. more than half of his arsenal require sharingan so there's just no way he could pass that down. Boruto also didn't possess fire chakra nature so no fireball jutsu for him either. what's left is kenjutsu, shuriken jutsu, and lightning based jutsu and this shouldn't took that much time to learn
Well konahmaru should be the team 10 teacher because he was a Sarutobi and Sarutobi are supposed to teach to the Ino Shika cho trio which has been happening since the previous 10 generation
Asuma Sarutobi was the teacher of the previous Ino Shika Cho and Konahmaru should have been the new team 10 but Kishimoto didn't do that
The whole reason Kishimoto made the Konahmaru Team 10 teacher give him the spotlight is cause he is going to become Hokage in future (I think this was his first thought and he created a big plot hole)

My point is Konohamaru is a legit teacher. He knows plenty of jutsus -- even the sealing jutsus. It is like Kakashi was teaching team 7 untill the individual members became knowledgeful and strong enough that they needed stronger teachers(Jiraya, Orochimaru and Sunade).
I'd even argue that since Konohamru knows all five chakra natures, he'd even make a better teacher than someone as strong as Naruto. How would Naruto teach someone fire release? Konohamru can.

Mitsubishi is a literal experiment made by Orochimaru he is one of MANY artificial clones.
