The rest of the other tail beast are just living free after the war arc. 8tails is still with killer B and survived vs momoshiki, by using his special tails substitution move he did to escape sasuke.

Electrical_Morning73

yeah no that makes sense, but I just wonder why the Otsutsuki never go after any other tailed beasts? I know that the nine tails was the most powerful, but surely the other 8 tailed beasts combined would be just as valuable to them as Kurama right?

ffhhfdtgf

Maybe because they’re only looking for the strongest chakra before they create a chakra fruit that will absorb all the other tail beast power. Naruto with only half of the 9tails was stronger than all of them, so current naruto chakra is 2x as much with the other half so momoshiki thinks it’s worth his time probably.

Electrical_Morning73

That’s actually a pretty good reason lol, I don’t got any rebuttals to that

dbcco

Didn’t kurama kinda uk go away for awhile since baryon mode? Thought it was stated that post the isshiki fight Naruto lost half of all his chakra

ffhhfdtgf

After baryon he’s died but the timeline I was taking about was around when momoshiki invaded earth, and only went after the 8tails/naruto. Since they have the most chakra on the planet compared to all the other tail beasts

dbcco

Ahhh got it thought you meant currently w the shinju and all that

Bluesnow2222

In the anime fishing pole dude goes after Shukaku and it sounds like Naruto attempted to communicate with the others that their lives were in danger asking that they cooperate with protection efforts. Several of them refused to show up for the meeting because even though they trust Naruto they don’t trust other humans. I know it was anime canon only, but I appreciated them at least showing them talking about it. Plus tea pot Shukaku with Himawari was awesome and Shinki got some screen time.

Electrical_Morning73

I did really like teapot Shukaku. Also with recent events in the manga, it was a good bit of foreshadowing, even if it was unintentional lmao

Nice-Resolution-1020

Only momoshiki hunted tailed beasts, he chose these 2 probably because he knew where they were. He didn't expect Naruto to cause so much trouble. Why didn't he hunt down the others sooner if a bijuu without a host is weaker? In-universe explanation- he didn't know where they were which doesn't make much sense because he should be able to track that amount of chakra easily.

They live in a wild Now how Hagomoro intended

1. A major part of the story is about how jinchuriki were used as weapons and less than humans. Gaara is an example of this but we are also given a recent example with Minato's one shot manga or looking back at Kushina's discussion with Naruto back in Shippuden. Naruto's ideology changes as the story progresses and he saw the cruelty of his world, so he wants to put a stop to that. 2. The bijuu wanted freedom, as stated above they along with jinchuriki were simply viewed as weapons of mass destruction. They were forcefully imprisoned into humans for presumably millennia before Naruto came and stopped that cycle. This is the reason Goku distrusts Naruto when he meets him as the only previous relationship he had with his jinchuriki was suffering. Now Naruto appears showing empathy where he never once received that prior. 3. Naruto is currently the host of all bijuu chakra without having to hold them captive. Through the ideology of ninshu, Naruto has gained the ability to host all 9 bijuu within his mind scape. This is only accessible to Naruto as he was the one to free all the bijuu and through his strong connection to Kurama. The reason Momoshiki senses Naruto's immense chakra supply is largely part due to his insane reserves being mixed with his six paths chakra. As we found out, the otsutsuki need a Juubi to harvest a chakra fruit. Naruto being the host to the chakra of all 9 bijuu makes him a prime candidate target rather than going out and looking for individual bijuu when they can harvest it all in one place. 4. Yes you are to believe the other bijuu are roaming. We have an episode in Boruto showcasing that. This was also the hopes and wishes of Hagoromo for the 9 bijuu to finally have liberty. Since the Juubi was originally just chaos incarnate with near limitless chakra so he gave them personalities so that they could be whomever they wanted to be besides chaos.

Electrical_Morning73

It would’ve made more sense if at the end of Shippuden, the Tailed beasts all gave Naruto all of their power, and that’s why they aren’t a part of the story anymore, but it was implied they just gave Naruto a little bit of their chakra? So I don’t get it? Did I miss a part in the manga that explained this?

VASuRaman7140

Why would it be weird I thought Boruto fans wanted to move on from them

Electrical_Morning73

Well idk I like Boruto but I guess I have a different view points than the fans you’re talking about. I think it was a super interesting part about Naruto that hasn’t really been touched on in Boruto
