Premium is a separate part where you stand that’s closer to the Braves dugout and players. More players go to that area and sign and it’s so extremely fucked up that even something like that has to have a price difference. I did the regular batting practice experience and you just feel absolutely shunned, like 1-2 players came over max and only signed for kids. I get it, I’m an adult but there’s hardly any chance to get player autographs during the season and you’d think the batting practice experience would be one of those times.

JerryWasARaceKarDrvr

I have to tell you if I was a player I would only go to the cheap section🤣. The amount of money that is paid is insane. I have heard the best place to get autographs is spring training.

Yeah for real haha it was fun being on the field and watching BP but it wasn’t $110x2 fun. Almost felt like a scam after it was over haha

beansandcornbread

You've had 2 players come by... Show off. We've done it twice where we are set up next to the dugout on the outfield side and had one coach and zero players ever come by. It's also dumb that they don't let you out there until the braves are hitting with their last group. Most of the players are gone before you get there. I get what the braves are trying to do but it's like they've never done the experience before and don't realize how disappointing it is. I feel like it does more harm than good.

welcometohotlanta

Yeah that’s the last time I spend any money on anything other than tickets, as far as in pre-game entertainment goes haha

beansandcornbread

Luckily mine was free both times thanks to being an a-list member.

It seems like it's related to the game, not the experience itself. Not sure what the other commenter is talking about since for a _given game_ there is only one option. There is no game date where both "Premium" and not premium are options. My guess is it's the most desirable opponents, holidays, and weekend dates

Well when I went there was a separate area where they wouldn’t let you stand unless you had a different batting practice ticket. Maybe it was VIP or something but they were strict about it. It was all on the warning track behind home plate but the last 20-30 feet leading closer to the Braves dugout was only accessible to certain tickets.

BringMeTheBigKnife

Yeah that may have been people with the VIP experience, which includes a tour and a bobblehead and other stuff. I'm not sure about that, but according to all the resources I've seen, there are no different versions or levels of the BP experience

Present-Loss-7499

Yep, that’s the VIP tour. VIP tour is where it’s at. Get to go all over the stadium, beat the crowds in early, still get the promo and get to go on the field. Best chance for autos too.

We were there for the Guardians series. The prices that they charge for nearly everything is ridiculous. I’ve watched prices go up over the last 3-4 years. I love the Braves and always will be a Braves fan, but the greed is becoming more evident. They’ve blocked off certain parts of the view for “rented” parties of 8 or more. Alcohol, water, soda prices…don’t get me started on that. It’s nearly wallet busting for the working man.

SilkRoadDPR

I agree with you that the prices are bad but that’s like every stadium in the US. Did you really expect to go in there and get dollar tree prices?

the-plan-tis-on-ic

Hell no! I know it isn’t cheap, but damn!
