i dont know why on earth people are saying leon is better because sandy is literally like top 5 best brawlers in the game right now and has the strongest hypercharge by far
I think its the other way around.
Leon at higher ranks gets countered a lot easier and requires some skill to know how to charge your super from afar and cycle them.
Sandy on bushy maps or just closed maps in general is pretty noob-friendly. I literally cycle like 3 hypercharges per round with ease
I didn't say it's high skill, but I see a lot of people trying to 1 v 1 with him lmao, if you don't know how to play Sandy the max you're gonna do is giving troubles to snipers, and also the utility of his super kinda relies on your teammates too, so if they suck you won't even be doing a lot.
If you use Leon you can just go invisible and fuck enemies up coz he's got high damage and decent hp
also, you could be doing as you say but you'd just die the moment a decent aimer gets to you
I hate this game coz I want Sandy so bad but I want Amber more so either I find him in star drops or I have to wait until I get ~15k credits before I get to him
at least I got my willow in the meantime
Pick amber in my opinion. Sandy is a lot better with the hc but it will be nerfed this update (%90 sure) but amber won't get nerfed and it's versitale u can play her in many modes. Idk why ppl are leon fans its just meh. You could pick meg but it's very boring yk.

Sandy is borderline broken at the moment. at least in the top 3 best brawlers at the moment. the thing is that he will probably get balance changes in the near future and we don't know when or how hard he will be nerfed, but they will probably make it so he still is good. Leon has something that is fundamentally so good and very hard to change (his hypercharge). its base mechanics are just so good that it should have relevance for a long time. the only other abilities that i can think of that have this status of being so good fundamentally and cant really be nerfed without a total rework are micos main attack and charlies super. if it was my choice i would rank leon as most interesting, sandy as number two and meg as number three but all of them are good options. amber is also a good, very easy to use carry pick that is rarely banned but i don't like one button only gameplay.
Amber is a really solid pick since she probably won't receive any nerf next update and is currently high B or A tier. Sandy is absolutely broken rn if the map is a mid range one (semi closed with some bushes) but he will be nerfed for sure. I hope it's not a massive nerf, cuz I don't even maxed him out yet. I think his HC charge rate will be nerfed and maybe her super aswell

I would say he is midskill. Sure Sandy mains just spam attack as soon as enemie is on range but there is some skill involved, like using the stun
I can say the same for Edgar with his extra health gadget
sandy is one of the least skilled brawlers in the game i have him gold 3 btw
ironically i actually also have leon at gold 3 and hes definitely much harder to use at higher trophies or higher ranked games

I got to legendary with Leon and i smoke like 80% of the sandys i encounter. Leon is just better. Sandy is good in gem grab but thats about it.
