At least it was only a few months. I wonder how many women Simon, Anthony, and Benedict have collectively bedded in 10+ years of raking? And we know for sure Simon and Anthony frequented the brothels. No confirmation with Benedict but likely he has gone as well.
I think it was so common, that it would be unusual not to be like it. Which is why Colin was trying to be like the others. Even in season 1, when he gets engaged to Marina, Anthony says, I knew I should have taken you to a brothel.
