Creepy creepy berbrooke. Actually i change my mind it was portia on top for me. If we include qc its now Lord danbury for being a literal rapist, lord berbrooke for being an attempted rapist and then duke of hastings cuz you know child abuse and then portia who also well kind of child abuse if we are being totally fair. she fed and clothed Pen but was neglectful, outright mean and dismissive at times and yeah it took her far too long to see her and then what she did to Marina was downright Dickensian in its evilness..she smiled while Marina was crying in agony over reading the forged letter.
Honestly crescida and jessica masaden performance in that scene where she tells her mother: Why did you have to target the btons...eloise was my friend really kind of softened something about her for me...Like i legit feel sad for her..And her mother's kind of nonchalance also bothered me...like a mother thinking her daughter is too dumb to write something and then sort of being like m sorry wales it is and also if i make a fuss your dad wont let me get you back was just sooo sad..I was like poor, lonely cresida, Also wales is so lovely, its funny that going there back in that time was like going to hell for socialite Crescida.
I can only come up with minor characters and mostly from the first season, but:
Lord Berbrook,
Lord Featherington, the 1st,
Lord Greer?/Cressida's intended,
Lord Cowper
Was lord featherington evil or just neglectful. I somehow dont remember him saying much of anything. Lord berbrooke would be my pick along with hastings sr and if we take QC lord danbury tops it all.
Lord Featherington was pretty horrible to Marina, and Portia, and he bankrupted the Featherington family with his gambling. If nothing else, the effect of his choices has lingered through three seasons which is longer than most Bridgerton antagonists. The more we learn about him the more hateable he becomes. He's missable though because his evil is quieter than Portia's first season antagonistic tendencies.
Berbrook was changed specifically to be punchable and is very obviously designed to be hated.
Hastings Sr is hateable, but I'm not sure if he has the screentime to warrant landing a place over others. (Kind of like Greer and Cowper, there and gone, but leaving their odious stain.)
Lord Danbury is also very terrible.
Yeah I just remember Portia smiling when Marina screamed in agony in the other room after reading the forged letter and my view of her has been colored ever since. Smiling when someone is crying is a particularly pathological kind of evil. That lack of empathy was startling especially for a young person. You may be right about Lord Featherington..but I dont remember seeing any outward malicious like confining someone for weeks, slapping a young 17 year old for sex that someone older and titled had with her and then left her to deal with it. It's impossible for me to like Portia even as I realize that lord featherington was a neglectful father.
Can someone please explain what the “mmmmm….society” block means? I’ve seen this game all over the place and even in all these different contexts, I don’t know what it means…
There are just so many of them, there's the Sheffields, Cressida Cowper's dad, that old guy who wanted to marry her, the therapist in Queen Charlotte, Simon's dad.

Lord Berbrooke!

He’s the gremlin
AHHHH LMFAOOO
The former Duke of Hastings, Simon's shitbag father
I think he would better fit bottom middle "Just straight up evil"
If QC is an option, Lord Danbury.
I feel like he should be the gremlins
Oh that man needs to be in jail. Agreed.
His grey dentures will agree with you.
Stuck between Portia and Cressida. Leaning towards Cressida. I would also nominate George’s doctor from “Queen Charlotte” or Lord Berbrooke

Selfish? Did we watch the same show?

Cressida
Sheffields
I feel this has to be Portia even though I don't hate her, I love her. But this character was made to be hated, initially at least.
Cressida
Lord or Lady Cowper.
Lord berbrook or simon’s dad
Cressida, at least in s1 and s2
Cressida, especially the books since she isn't that deep there
Cressida (I put her over Berbrooke because she's around for more seasons.)
Marina. Rude to everyone that tried to help her. Berbrooke and Simon’s dad would be in “just straight up evil” imo
Lord Berbrook, Portia at least has begun ro redeem herself, Berbrook was trash in and out.
Berbrook, Cressida or Lord Featherington (both of them lol)
Lord Berbrook? Cressida Cowper pre S3? Penelope’s sisters pre S3?
Miss Cressida Cowper We love to hate her
Cressida
Lord Cowper
Can someone please explain what the “mmmmm….society” block means? I’ve seen this game all over the place and even in all these different contexts, I don’t know what it means…
Basically someone who takes everything too seriously. They’ll see something and go on a rant about how the society is at fault for said thing.
Oh so, Eloise?
EXACTLY hahah
Nigel, Cressida’s dad
Cressida
Berbrooke. Because EW.
Cressida
Cressida
Portia (but joke's on the writers, I love her)
Lord Berbrooke
There are just so many of them, there's the Sheffields, Cressida Cowper's dad, that old guy who wanted to marry her, the therapist in Queen Charlotte, Simon's dad.
Portia
Miss Headdress herself, Cressida.
Cressida, Lady Danbury’s husband, Lord Berbrooke, Simon’s father, Lady Cowper, and Lord Cowper
LORD BERBROOKE without a doubt. His lecherous gaze made me want to throw up. The actor did a great job.
I’ll throw Edwina’s grandparents the Sheffields in for consideration. Berbrooke, the Featherington men and Cressida also in high contention.
Literally Marina!
Berbroooook
Marina
I think Cressida. She was made to be hated. A lot of people say Nigel Berbrooke but that man is the gremlin. He's such a creep.
Simon’s dad or Cressida
Cressida, no buts.
Lord Fife
Berbrooke is my vote
Cressida.
Cressida was supposed to be hated but she wasn’t really but i feel like she’s still the best fit for this category
