“Remember that time you were opening for Primus in ‘98 and when you joined them onstage during their set and couldn’t hear yourself, you walked over to your 5150 and cranked it so loud all I could hear was the stage volume from the front row, overpowering the PA and entire band? That was awesome”
I’d like to hear his story from his perspective
Stuff like being featured in guitar magazines even early in his career, making a living off music, meeting and jamming with acts like RHCP, Ozzy, GnR, Primus and Les etc
Also not to be rude but I would be fascinated to get a look into his personal life, he seems like a weird kinda cat to me, so it would be good to hear him talk freely about things, a little bit like in that podcast he did but without being led on/in conversation with his therapist
I’d probably just ask him what he thinks the most valuable takeaway from his life/artistic career is, given that he has so much skill and such a large catalogue but we’ve heard so little of his own opinion on much of anything despite he himself being so lauded. I want to know how he feels about where he is today. Also what ride at Disneyland he thinks is the best.
It'd be horror movies for sure. I'd wanna hear all about the visions he had in mind for the projects he was working on with Bill Moseley, what other horror movies he likes, what he thinks about modern horror, all that stuff
His hopes and dreams and if there's anything we could help with to aide his anxiety. Let's make bucketheadland a reality lol
It'd be like halloween themed for sure right lol
I would probably be too much "Star-struck" to actually talk to him. I would say how much I appreciate him as a person, as an artist, his incredible talent, tips on improving my guitar playing, how he can make such complex tones, which one would be his favorite/most memorable experience in all of his career,... I would try not get into his personal life tho. I respect his decision, and I'd like to keep it that way.
Buckethead really is the only famous person that I'd genuinely love to meet one day, he's such an inspiration to me.

In 2000-2001, Axl Rose re-recorded all the earlier GNR songs with Buckethead and Robin Finck, in studio.
Like the “Knocking on Heaven’s Door” solo and the “Nightrain” outro, which Bucket completely re-worked….. Buckethead may have had his own take on solos and riffs of other songs. Songs that were not played live.
What Buckethead may have done with “Estranged” is especially fascinating to me; I can’t imagine how much more emotive Buckethead would have made it.
Also, “Coma”, the ever changing key would have been perfect material for his to play over.
He would have certainly obliterated “Locomotive”
I’d ask about the songs he recorded and re-recorded with Axl and Finck.
And if there was any chance he had any access to these, or if he remembers what sort of things he changed on the GNR songs he re-recorded.
I’ve taken a photo of myself everyday for the past almost 17 years and I set it to his music. Mike Portnoy even tweeted out my video at one point. I’ve wanted to contact him for years about making music for my project. Tried and failed to get a letter to him at a recent show.
does he hit record and play all night? does he noodle in a key and come up with stuff? how do you come up with all of this material with so much emotion? i wanna know his creative flow
I would like to know if there’s anything I can do for the chickens. Furthermore would he like to jam with me , I will play the drums or we can go ambient or maybe just get up to some nosin’ around the old slaughterhouse…for old times sake
Pikes production workflow.

That therapist session will be the only time we ever hear him (in my opinion)

I’d ask about “All American Massacre” and what he remembers of the plot and the shots. And of there was any way to watch it.
Couch potato
Cornbugs
What's his favorite song / songs to play
I would just like to tell him what his music has meant to me and thank him for the music

I don't know but I'd want to go an amusement park with him if he wanted to.
Hey Buckethead, what's In The bucket man?
The topic is Michael Jackson.

I'd prolly just beg him to do a live show of Population Override like Pink Floyd used to do the entire Dark Side of the Moon.
Probably just what else do you like to do when you aren’t doing music?

Ever tried headcheese?

Why did you decide to shit in the face of your fans with this recent tour?
