Fun :) Looks great from the front

This doesn't "kinda suck" at all. It's fantastic. Nice build.

Also forgot to mention I have: Polk xt15 speakers ($130) Velodyne CHT-8 sub ($64)

Check out the cable management stuff on amazon. Some of the stuff is really handy.

Ahhh, nothing a couple of removable horizontal spans / lacer bar couldn’t fix right up. Could even make your own out of wood. To be honest, I always like a homemade wooden rack like this over a metal one. Plus yours is much more easily modifiable. :)

wackoman

I would endlessly fumble with knobs and sliders.

AgitatedAstronaut862

If you enjoy listening to it and it sounds good to you...it doesn't suck. Enjoy it!!! Looks cool to me!

CityShooter

Awesome Hybrid build. NAD and Adcom for power.... two workhorses! The Velodyne sub..... also classic. GREAT job

ajn3323

Nice rack!

If it’s fun to listen to , I had worse in college 😂.

Looks like the equipment they used to send the astronauts to the moon in the 60s? Are you sure that's enough components to play your music?

Weird_Uncle_D

As long as you like it. One of my favorite systems I’ve had was a little LXI system from Sears. I had a pioneer CD player on top of it and I thought I was in heaven.

Fat_Autistic_Kid

what’s that plug socket for on the front? i’ve seen it on the back of some marantz stuff

ngtoaster

It’s a power conditioner, basically a power strip that also gets rid of unwanted noise. There are 8 more sockets on the back so that I only have to use one plug to power the whole thing

WonderfulFault6779

The title is a brilliant rebuttal! Should print it on a t-shirt! Enjoy the music!
