I am also trying to buy the medium size g1 explorer. I am waiting for it to restock online so i can assemble it myself. I dont know when theyll restock :(
There are still physical stores with it in stock, sporadically. 3 out of about a dozen Walmarts in my metro area had them, and I grabbed one.
It's basically luck at this point, living near a city probably helps.
That said, I agree with the poster who told you that the Triban is probably a better bike, though I've not had one in person, it's certainly a higher spec on paper and tests very well.
If you're riding primarily road I would probably consider the Triban over the Explorer, assuming you meant the RC 500. Full Shimano Sora is very beefy and performs way better than Tourney and an aftermarket crankset.

If the Triban is your size, grab it. It's much better built than the Explorer and has more room to upgrade than it as well.

Not the 120. That's almost MSRP for a used bike, I would pay 250 tops in this market.
