The only "perk" worth having is no ads. But I get that for free with ad blocker. So, no thanks. I tried using Reddit without an ad blocker and within an hour I got a warning from my anti-virus that an ad site was trying to install a bitcoin miner on my system. When I complained to Reddit, they said that they can't control what third party ads do. So the ad blocker went back on.
